Guest DarkClone
Yes the pied piper has returned after a long sabbathical, oh pardon me sabbatical to, shall I dare say "school" the S. Calif. masses in the art of high speed carving. A daring night escape with help from the inside has liberated me from a life of men in white suits and One Flew Over The Cuckoo Nest types. Been on the outside for awhile now and have numerous sessions here and there under the belt. Last Thursday the 17th. Exhibition at Bear Mt. was a 11 on the Marshall Amp. scale. And just a few skiers and boarders to fall in the trenches. If the conditions warrant will be at Summit the 23rd. DarkClone

Guest DarkClone
Wed. the 23rd. was just everything this Alpine Rider could possibly want. Got up before sunrise and it was 26 degrees out not a cloud in the sky. Arrived at Bear around 8 and high wispy cirrus clouds were coming into the picture. The snow was just the most perfect grippy, fast, corduroy to the horizon (wait I'm not at Jeffries) every turn in the bank as good as Buttermilks best, carving conditions ever!!!!!!!! Was in heaven until this massive fog bank closed in on the upper mountain at 11:45 ending my day. Got home at 1 and by 3:30 it was the full blizzard of ahhs. Again no other carvers to share it with, just a few skiers and a couple guys on cafeteria trays. By the way the F2 Speedster 177 is my fav ride at the moment. Darkclone out.
