bobdea Posted November 24, 2007 Report Share Posted November 24, 2007 I've never liked Solomon anything other than they make a decent ski binding anyway, I bought a pair on the cheap for my girlfriend and after looking at them and taking them apart I realized these bindings at first glance do not look like nideckers but on closer inspection are total nidecker rip offs if you look for certain similarities but not as well done. Classic solomon effort, take someone else's good idea and screw it up. given this is a low end binding but there are some serious design weaknesses with these things, they'll probably be alright but two turns of thread engagement to hold the heel hoops on seems like a disaster waiting to happen old school styler FLAD that can unscrew and come off cheesy toe ramp nice ratchets though, gotta give them that, in that case better than nidecker Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
