so after ordering a used nidecker from thor, i come to find its been sent back to him in classic "looks like its been slammed in a door" fashion. so i recieve my burton step ins, and am sans board for a good month and a half.

im am later directed to klug riding and swiftly purchase a 99 factory prime.

my question,

is a 99 FP, a pair of burton step ins, and a pair of burton wind boots. a good begginer carving setup? ive been riding softboot for awhile now.

EDIT: mind you im 6' 138 lbs.

How long is the FP?

I think that will be a good starter setup assuming you can flex the board @140lbs?

The boots and bindings should be fine. I hope you got the 3 hole discs for the bindings...

I think boots are the most important part of a setup. Properly fitting boots can really make or break your days on the slopes. But that's MHO...
