skategoat
What are the conditions like? I have some time off next week and plan to do some riding. I'd like to know if the drive to Blue is worth it. I heard they stopped grooming.
Chris Houghton
You're better off at MSL - half the distance and much better grooming. They are still using the zambonis at blue.

skategoat
Thanks guys. The reason I want to ride Blue is because I have a 5x7 pass there.
Chris Houghton
If you do go up this week, let us know how much is left.........
Marker
Yeah, I am sitting on a 5X7 myself, so please report back if you do make it out. I was spoiled at the SES and now I am experiencing some major withdrawal.
Guest Mike Ford
It was pretty ugly on friday, they lost a lot of snow over the week and grooming was sketchy at best on the weekend. But with that said any day of riding is better than the alternative.
Guest Kirby carver
I was at Blue last Thursday and it was pretty grim. Snowboard park was so brown it looked better suited for dirt bikes! I was at Louis for the NorAm on Sunday and conditions were good.
jjfarbs
Driving to Collingwood, the temperature hit 18C on Friday afternoon. I knew things would be marginal at best with a morning freeze coming up. However, there was no question that my slalom board was the ultimate ice buster. The only guys out carving me on the weekend were the serious ski racers who knew not to use too much pressure on the ice and probably had a fresh tune. Ride the ridge!
