tex1230
longshot here, I know, but for all you parents out there - I am looking for kids twin tip skis in a 125-130 length with bindings (din to 4.5?) our season is officially over and my son really wants twin tips next year...we've been doing season rentals for the last few years but none of the shops out here have twins on their season rental programs. I've seen new K2 mini enemys on ebay for $200, so I figure a used pair should go for under $100. Let me know if you have anything... Thanks
Strider
I know its old news, but if you have patience, ebay is the way to go. I've got my sons stuff there for the last 3 seasons and never paid more than $100 total for bindings+skis, and 2 of the 3 sets came in their shrinkwrap. Problem is, you have to be patient and wait around for your deal....although spring and early summer has been the best for me since people aren't thinking skiing then. tex1230
thanks - I'm watching the bay but just in case anyone here has a kid who has outgrown their equipment I thought I'd take a shot.
k2slopesurfer
I love the guys at summit, got a buncha stuff from em, and my nephew LOVES the troubles so much that for his next pair he's begging for a short adult version. http://www.summitonline.com/85961.html and they have some decent bindings too... http://www.summitonline.com/22010.html depending on your kid's size you could also get these http://www.summitonline.com/83670.html perfect for twins, and plenty of room to grow on with a din from 3-7 plus if your kid starts ripping park, you might need slightly higher settings for jumpin and such happy hunting. modifiede30
Here's another place to look for stuff - great if you don't want to dump a lot of money on something that's not going to be used long - i.e., kids. I stopped rentals once I found this place - we have 2 kids so easier to recycle things than trade them in. http://galacticsnowsports.com/junior_skis/
