willywhit
Holy Cow !Enough already with the taking down threads/deleting posts. I wanted to read that thread about Doneks. It's like big brother dictates what information to control. Kinda like the seinfeld episode when Newman says: "When you control the mail, you control information." but this forum is public, boo I just had a conversation last week in the Loon parking lot about doneks v coilers v priors. Doneks are under built ? I never thought so. I'd still get an Axis. Life is full of differences of opinion and that's what makes this country great. When you try to control what people say....it ain't right. Bring back the thread. Sean won't lose any business.

willywhit
Alan, who coaches the Holderness Alpine Team in NH, had some good points. Metal makes for a superior race ride but the life of the board is short. Most of us will never put the beating on a board that real racers do.If you're gonna hammer your board and it breaks, suck it up. If you ride it under normal conditions and it breaks, that's another story.Alan seemed partial to Coiler and the strength of Bruce's boards.I'm a big guy and ride pretty hard but don't race. The only boards I've delamm'd were sims soul carves and they sent me a new one every time....and they didn't necessarily know I was riding plates on them. When they stopped replacing boards, I stopped buying Sims. Still have the T Sims 169 and have yet to fix the minor delam. One of these days, Alice, one of these days.
