alexeyga Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 As usual I went to Olympia... Thick iced snow base, with 1/2" iced pellets on top... Not exactly the hero conditions, perfect for bombing down the hill, carvable on softer/longer boards... the exact word would be surfable Better than nothing anyways, 11 trails are open at Olympia... Next time will come later - too many kids... Quote
Louis Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 I was at St-Saveur during the day, started with "not so bad" condition during the AM and in the PM it turned into icy slopes. I was giving courses, didnt got the chances to carve very much. Pretty good to give some stability exercice on the ice Quote
BoarderYUL Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 I was in Tremblant all day on sunday and the conditions were really nice !! Of course, some ice here and there, but overall I really did enjoy my day! A thick crust with plenty of natural (yeah yeah) snow ! End of the day was not that amazing because of the ice, but i've seen a lot worst before!!! Give Tremblant a try if u can ! Quote
alexeyga Posted January 17, 2007 Author Report Posted January 17, 2007 Give Tremblant a try if u can ! It's not bad, especially the back of the mountain, but the only time i've been there, i've decided it was the last time as well... Massif is only 1.5 hours further... Quote
