BoarderYUL Posted January 3, 2007 Report Posted January 3, 2007 I had to drill my own holes on my first alpine board.... that beautiful Kemper Apex 164.... 45/45 deg... what about that huh ? I was young and innocent lol Must admit that this one, even "brand new" is getting some age. Quote
Bobby Buggs Posted January 3, 2007 Report Posted January 3, 2007 That board was ready for the 2 piece Emery Surfs, Yuk Quote
BoarderYUL Posted January 3, 2007 Report Posted January 3, 2007 Emery surf.... those beautiful green and purple bindings... exactly those i had mounted 45/45 on my kemper.... I would never even think of trying that board again. It would be complete suicide i think ! Quote
willywhit Posted January 3, 2007 Report Posted January 3, 2007 wow ! I had the purple / yellow version of that board with...Emery Surfs(worst made bails ever)they ripped out and then T nutted Burton beartraps that failed too(broken arm)Never seen that grey graphic tho. Dano left mine to rot under a ski house in New Hampshire somewhere. :( Quote
www.oldsnowboards.com Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 get it while it's hot:http://tinyurl.com/y7jdzq drill your own holes? I don't get it. I love that you don't get it :o BEFORE inserts we drilled and mounted bindings much like a ski binding. Early years of inserts the 4 major companies all had their OWN pattern of inserts. Not standard. It was a pain Inserts are a good thing! Quote
www.oldsnowboards.com Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 hmmmm, maybe oldsnowboards would like this NOS board... I would, 140$ is a little higher than I am willing to pay right now. Too many other good buys out there begging for attention Thanks for thinking of me though! Sounds like you guys are finally getting an adequate snow pack? Quote
