jtslalom Posted December 16, 2006 Report Share Posted December 16, 2006 I started at 8:00 am and road until 9:00 am. Believe it or not, south summit was in pretty good shape. The snow was firm about 2/3 down and then it got a little soft. I took three runs dwon it and it wasn't to crowded. At about 8:45 I went to Bear peak and took a run down the racing trail. It was soft, the trail was narrow and there was about 50 people on one section. After that I went home. I would not bother going out tomorrow for all those thinking about it.
