They never slip, I can micro adjust without actually undoing the buckle, and I haven't yet broken anything. I never much cared for the metal buckles on my Reactors. My Crispi "real buckles" are ok, but I don't feel any diffrent with them then I do with what I have. That said, the new ones look rad.
