I took the first thing that walked under my stand. It was the spike I let go now twice while bow hunting. He walked ten yards from the base of my tree and stood in the same general area for half an hour. I guess I just decided that meat in the freezer is better than none at all, so I took him. We just never got to wallyworld to get our licenses , so no venison for us this year. Maybe some turkey in the spring though . Congrats on the punk-rocker deer!
