And since we have many competitors , which one is it?
Randy T.
I work for IGT (International Game Technology). I am a product designer in mechanical engineering. And just so i'm not mistaken is Bally Tech the same as Bally as in gaming? What is the TMS division?

TMS = Table Management Systems, We do Baccarat and Blackjack tables adding all the high tech stuff to monitor and accuratley record play by play. I also am a product designer -- small world huh? -- mechanical engineer with motion control and mechanism my specialty. good talking with you
pnwradar
Table Management System -- adds computer tracking and management to casino table games, similar to what's been done to the video poker/slots/keno machines. Think of the "player reward" cards used in the slots, except applied to the poker, blackjack, pai gow, roulette, craps table games. Then add in RFID technology that tracks every chip in the casino, and digital observation of every card dealt to prevent cheats and errors. -jon-

Was there a specific reason you asked if anyone here worked there? A friend of mine just left IGT to work for Bally about a week ago. Did you get to go to the Global Gaming Expo in Vegas last week? I was down there Tue. and Wed.
C5 Golfer
Yeah it's a pretty small world. Was there a specific reason you asked if anyone here worked there? A friend of mine just left IGT to work for Bally about a week ago.Did you get to go to the Global Gaming Expo in Vegas last week? I was down there Tue. and Wed. Reason I was asking is in case I work out a reason to go back to Reno. My daughter used to live there working for MicroSoft and since moved back to Seattle area, but anyway we boarded Tahoe area and golfed quite a bit. I liked it there so if I came back for work maybe I could add a day or so and go back to some of the hills with a co-worker. I did not go this year, I had a few of my products there but went to the last two and I figured it was just like seeing the same movie again. I do like the ladies showing the equipment off, both ours and theirs.
