Jack M Posted October 18, 2006 Report Share Posted October 18, 2006 Just want to give some props to Boarder_Ted for hooking me up big time with a free used Rossi Throttle 173 for my softbooting brother-in-law to use to learn alpine (he's a big guy). Ted had claimed the board first when it was put up for grabs in the classifieds here, but my story of getting a family member into alpine got through to him and he agreed to a trade for my old FP167, which wasn't really working for my bro-in-law (too long sidecut radius). I got the better end of the deal, and I sincerely appreciate his generosity and understanding. My brother-in-law is going to be thrilled, and I will be thrilled to have a carving buddy in the family. Also thanks to Ben (fishrising) for giving the board away in the first place.
