philfell
Anton and I have just secured out dates and prices of our camp for South America. Originally we wanted to do this camp at Las Lenas, but the resort was unable to provide us the training we wanted so we were forced to search out another option. After some time weighing our options we settled on training at El Colorado (http://www.elcolorado.cl/centro_ski/index.htm). Our camp will consist of eight days on snow (weather permitting of course). Durning these days we will be training G.S. and SL as well as free riding and slaying powder if there is some to be slayed. The program is to arrive in Santiago, Chile on the morning of Aug 16. Rally up to the resort (about 2-3 hrs from the airport) that same day. Snowboard Aug. 17-25 with one rest day in the middle. Return to Santiago after riding on the 25th. This camp is ideal for riders and families of intermediate through world cup ability. Last year we had a great mix of riders preparing for the upcoming world cup season and people who simply want take their snowboarding to the next level while experiencing a culture that is vastly different from ours. This is a great way for anyone to use snowboarding as an excuse to expand their world knowledge. The price of this camp will be $2200 per athlete. This will include ride in/ride out lodging, eight days of lift tickets at El Colorado, training lane space on the mountain, transportation while in Chile, world class coaching, video analysis, and an experience of a life time. If you would like to attend we are requiring a non-refundable deposit of $500 per athlete due by July 1st and the remainder due by July 24th. If these dates are not met the price will go up to $2700 per athlete. Please understand that we need to have this time table so we can give the resort and exact number of participants in a timely manner so we can ensure that they have enough rooms for us. Also for those who are competing in FIS level events we will be going to Argentina after the camp to do a PGS and a SBX event. We will leave for Argentina on Aug. 26 and return after the event on Sept. 2. The price above does not include this part. Also for those interested in doing some surfing Anton will be organizing a surf trip before the camp starts and after we return from Argentina. If you are interested or know anyone who is interested in coming with us to South America for this camp you can get in touch with Anton or myself at antonhood@hotmail.com or philip.fell@lycos.com. Feel free to contact either of us if you have any questions.

Hollywood 90210
My two kids, Ben (16) and Millie (14) and I are signed up to go. We went last year with Anton and Phil. They are both great coaches; the race training was great and the free riding was off the scale. It was the best on snow experince that I have had in 34 years of snow sports. If this year is half as good as last year it will be worth the trip. I know what I will be dreaming about for the next 6 weeks, then it will be time to live the dream. You know what Warren Miller says "Do it now because next year you will be one year older when you do".
