Henry- I am looking to get rid of my FP to fund this years board, shoot me an email if you're interested.
-
Thanks for the replies guys and from what ive been readiing up on the Madd is better than the F2. Although ive seen f2s for cheaper, is it really worth dishing out another 50-150 for a Madd, keep in mind I usually ride in Ontario. If bindings help im using some older burton race plates.
-
Hahahaha, be glad you have snow, beucase as far as i know, there is nothing in Ontario
-
Thanks Henry, i am already on the list for SOS and i cant wait. I would have liked to have a board ready for this season, but its a much better idea to try a few out.
-
Great response!
As for the speedster, i was looking at the 173.... should turn a bit tighter?
I weigh 175 so im not sure how the madd woul work.
Any opinions on the Renntiger boards?
-
D-Sub: Well since im in Ontario im not going to be riding any big mountains :o
so something for some narrower ones and i definately like speed and edge hold. A few that caught my attention were the F2 Speedster RS and the Volks Renntiger GS. besides being wide boards and well priced used i havent another clue about them.

hmm, that would be interesting to see, since i also rock the suzukas.

Imho it looks much better and is more solid that this Arnold's thingy... But it's far from being anywhere near final design....
ahh yeah, well if you're going go go farther than prototype form you should, maybe make it adaptable with more boots. Just and idea, beucase i know nothing about fitting and how it work.

I remeber something like this from SOS
A guy had his dad make him a set. They looked similar to those one but a bit more hand made looking.

If you really want warm feet you have an option on each side of the scale.
Cheap- Thermo socks and temp heat packs (last a good few hours)
Expensivo- you can get heated liners that are attatched to a lightwieght battery pack:smashfrea
My solution is a nice thick wool sock, does the trick:angryfire
