Thanks for the reply. My feet wish that I had ordered a larger size too. Feet just look better with toenails. The boots are this years but are a different plastic. It is a stiffer density. Outside of the plastic they are the same. Yes, they are Burton heel blocks. I may have some others, I will check. I agree the Dee Lux heels deteriorate super fast. Thanks for the props! You won't find a better run mountain with authentic people behind it. They have the best grooming in the east and they focus on snowboarders. Despite being a little flat the trails are littered with fun terrain. The mountain is always expanding. Okemo hosts racing events and they offer a program for young hardbooters. Plus the owners daughter is on the US Team.

I made the mistake of not stating that the 07 Kesslers are set up for a goofy rider. They could be moved but is somewhat a process. In regards to the board shape the KST Kessler is standard square tail with a very blunt stubby nose.

Crested Butte, under it's new ownership, will soon beat out all Colorado resorts for the best grooming. The new mountain manager's roots are pure east coast; he realizes the importance of snow conditions and corduroy. Best of luck with this unknown gem!

Where do you live? What size board are you looking for and what type, SL or GS? Let me know via email or thread and I will contact some of my teammates. We have a huge quiver of boards they may be just right for you.

Colorado in general is a great place for carving. I live and train in Steamboat. I suggest Steamboat or Crested Butte because both are underrated mountains that don't have the crowds or vibes that are found in Vail or Beaver Creek. Steamboat is also home to the best Alpine Snowboarding Team in the country. Crested Butte offers seemless grooming and steeps that'll blow your mind. But, bring thee powder stick. As far as nightlife...if you ride hard enough you won't even want to go out.
