Spring Fling! Stratton Vt. May be an option….. I have been there a few times this time of yr & it was pretty good. Lift-line Lodge is acceptable & reasonable! Also there is a descent size Alpine community in that area! If someone wants to plan a road trip---- I may chime in!!!!

Same here Petrol/ but I'm not very Optimistic!! At best we may be forced to ride a Free-ride Board Riding on a big Slurpee!

K-2 we all expected to hear that from you/ ski-babe may be easily convinced now lol I hit a tree Sat night on the way up here/ looked like something from Dukes of Hazard Sorry I missed you Petrol on Sunday/ I was having a bad day with severe back pain/ so ridding suffered! Met Mellow Yellow/ sort of did one run with him/ then I went to get a shorter board/ then could not find him again/ he had 2 carve babes from NC up here with him/ I heard they were on the mountain on Monday/ but I could not find them! Monday was pretty good/ Soft groom! very nice/ but flat light! I had a great day Monday! Today good groom but hard as a rock! I did 2 runs then stopped/ going back out in a couple hrs hoping it is softer! Ok it was softer after lunch/ had some pretty good runs/ also met a pretty impressive ski-babe so Im glad I did not leave early!!!! headed home tonight!

Mr. Yellow The south end of the mountain has steeper pitch/ (Widow-maker area) not always groomed & it gets bumped up quickly. Mid- mountain is a mixture! The North end is more gentle & better for carving. (Log slide etc.) Western territory has 2 long steep runs/ I enjoy them on a free ride board/ but want nothing to do with them on a long Alpine stick Snowshoe side is larger, more diverse & more popular, which translates into crowds. Silver creek is smaller, more family orientated; better groom/ less crowded/ wider runs. More carver friendly / at least most of the time! Explore / ride it all.. I’m driving up early Sunday Morning, How about meeting in Silver creek lodge/ first floor in front of Misty’s sport bar 10;00 I should have my ducks in a row/ armed & dangerous by then. Red Coiler in hand. Let’s ride. Hopefully you can catch Petrol also! You will be disappointed after Aspen LOL

Yes it is a lot of pre-load/ that's my neutral position! What I did to establish that was stand on the board / springs missing Then In my neutral stance/ had someone measure the distance where the short spring would be/ which was all the way forward on the rear.. front was not quite as far! however when riding more tension on the front foot long spring felt better! As always , its a work in progress. We all have different body mackinac's / wish it were more simple! My gage/ at least for now / when running flat at med. speed/ standing erect in neutral/ the boots have no pressure on shin anywhere! NEUTRAL I'm always open for suggestions.. What works for you?

BTS---customized! Being a full blown gear head I’m more than particular with my equipment. The paint rubbing off the springs on my BTS- system bothers me. On my current system, I run yellow short springs/ blue long ones. Again being picky, the 2 colors rub me the wrong way also. The Answer!!!!!!! I had them powder coated…. Very durable, much more than paint & several hundred colors including metallic’s! $15 well spent! ----------------express your individuality! What about Chrome???

One of the benefits of winter un-employment I guess! Its snowing hard/ they are calling for 5 inches/ It will be good for Gunslinger this weekend! Ski-Babe is going to get sooooooooo Hooked at Steamboat But then again/ that was your plan Right? Devious! Ha Proud of ya!

I enjoy watching a really good skier carving/I will crank my neck around from the lift watching as far as I can! / They are rare however/ but always sweet to watch... Sorry to say/ My past skiing was no where near a spectators sport!:( Its all good as I see it/ But, I’m just not going to take any crap off them. I was on a snowboard/ riding with a handicapped guy In a ski type chair/ he fell in the center of the slope/ I was up hill trying to help lift him up when a lady/ no woman /on skis zoomed by saying get the hell off the slope/ this is not a parking lot! I’m sure she did not see this guy/ all she seen was a snowboard & wanted to bitch! Funny/ the guy said: leave me here/ go blow her doors off!! I fallowed that instruction but waited to long & could not find the wench! Ohoooooooo I would have enjoyed it…..

Gunslinger Snow pretty good/ but can change every day! I was up there last week / Sunday was high wind/ crowed/ they closed many lifts on snowshoe side/ forcing the masses to Silver Creek,, I only rode about 1.5 hrs Too many people/groom stunk! Monday Am woke up to 4 below/ it was one below when the rope dropped / had a heat wave to 22/ it was a awesome day/ Sunny/ crisp squeaky very fast snow! Awesome groom! Sunday night snowed 3 inches, overcast day, they groomed the easy 1/2 of the Snowshoe, it was great as was Silver Creek! Tue. Rained most of the night so I packed it up in the Am & came home----Warm ... Looking at the forecast/ cold again Tue & wed so I’m going!!!!!!!! Conditions can change in a day! Good luck!
