I remember a couple of weeks ago some one was looking for board for junior racers, i found this on ebay if any one is intrested
-
NO
the FAST system are HEELS like intec. Those look like FAST, and the bindings appear to be mounted backwards
of course, the pic is pretty small. I enlarged it but it got quite grainy
they definitely look like TD1s (which could be mounted without plates I believe, although it would be stupid)
Thats what i though, it just looked weird with the stepin at the front.

I really just want to see how they ride, I've ridden with a few people who own them and they rip. Looks like fun to me. And for $160 I really can't go wrong, 8 Year old tech or not.
Sorry bout that, i thought you were talking about an addicted.
if you are talking about the 160 ones then take it, great deal, my local mountain last year was trying to sell both alpine boots and snowboards for in excess of 600 a pop, for the FP and UP boards, Fire, wind, reactor boots.
I ended up buying thier pair of fires, they hadnt sold for the last 3 years for 250AUD,
If i can get an FP or UP (i know i will be thier only buyer for the season) in a length greater the 170 then i will buy it, getting them down on price aint hard.

YEA!!!!!,
that means only 3 more months until i can carve again
-
dont you mean fast toe reciever?
there are bails on the back
-
but we do find that most people are right handed,
shock there!
-
I dont know what the board is, but has it got a 3 hole center or 4
-
im going with Sinecure on this, for not much more then 500 you can get a great board made by a local company that is respected and trusted. The burton boards hardly anyone rides them and to get detail on how they ride you would have to look for the japanese riders as that is burtons market
-
the bloke that won the PGS, had what looked like home made risers, there was a thread about it 2 weeks ago
-
i know the swoard people say put t-tex on your gloves, how about on your pants? give you the glide if you stick your knee or but into the snow + you can structure and wax it for the extra speed.
-
i've got the winter green stays warm in my non thermo race boots.
-
alpine green i think
i will check the super feet site and get back to you
-
intrested in rulers and bindings to suit what are you asking
-
how else do you get your angles set right?
and dont you just like the rush of the carpet when you get your board up on the edge
-
I have the Green super feet insoles for my ski race boots, but find that there is not enough room to fit them in my fires. the clearence height in the fires just dosnt allow for them so i am stuck with those bad liners and footbeds
-
why ooh why did i not check bomber earlier,
well if chubz dosnt take them i am here
-
yeah - PSR recomended these to me a few years ago but I could never find them in my size...still can't
i have the same problem, whenever a 27 or 27.5 comes up the seller either wont ship it to me or i get sniped at the last second
-
just a guess but i would say that it is not Fawcett, he rode for sims? around the mid 90's
also the flag is USASA, does fawcett not come from canada, and would he not have been either coaching or racing for the national team at the time

http://www.snowboardermag.com/news/unortho/
here it is, made by capita
it has a pantented Double Swallow Tail™
-
that board called the unorthodox, fogot brand, it had a semi swallow tail on both ends except the board was a twintip, supposedly for using in pow both ways
-
dont indigo make boards for bogner?
some expensive gear there
-
bamboo would be alittle flexy for a race board though, they make a ski called a butterlicious. the company says that the ski is good at buttering and also has lots of pop. the problem with this in an alpine board is that to make a ski butter it must be very soft and flexable, eg. fold at high speed
-
at my mountain if i foget my pass i hike the first lift then ski the rest of the mountain just stay away from the beginner lift till 12:30, after that they dont scan
-
dont know about suppliers chubz, just go to the manufacter's website and it probably have where you can buy it
Jack: I looked into buying a hot blast for my GS board a few weeks ago from the only retailer of new alpine gear in aus. (you can get it through dealers of products but it gets too hard) The cost for one in a 17 something length exceeded the cost of getting a kessler sent to aus. every thing here is expensive.
