  1. Time to thin out the quiver so my WCRM 169 needs to go. Other than marks by bindings and one tiny nick at tail from lift line this board looks new. No marks on edges or base. Never been ground. Sold Sold

  2. If you can find a Salomon FRS consider yourself lucky. It's one of my favorite all time soft boot boards, carves well and stable at speed. Only board that I've found that I like better is my new Coiler softy. Feels very similar to the FRS but with the benefits of metal and new technology.

  3. I haven't had TD1's in a while but that looks like a bumper from the zero degree cant set of bumpers. Are both bumpers you have the same thickness? If they are then you have the wrong bumpers for a 3 degree cant disc. The 0,3 and 6 degree cant discs each had dedicated bumpers of different thicknesses.

  4. Interesting discussion. I've found that when I ride a wider board and use shallower angles that I'm quite comfortable using no toe or heel lift, in fact I prefer riding flat. However when I'm on narrow boards and using steep angles there is no way that I can comfortably ride without heel and toe lift.

    Personal experience is that stance angle needs to be considered when discussing flat or lift.

  5. 27 and 27.5 are the same shell size.

    I found that the AF 700 and Krypton are close to the same in length for size 24 but the Krypton's are narrower and just a hair shorter than the AF 700's. The Kryptons are a 99 mm width so I'm guessing that the AF 700's are a 103 mm width. From my experience, I wouldn't downsize going from Raichle to Dalbello.

  6. Not sure as I'm not familiar with those boots. Based on the fit of my Burton boots in the bindings I'm guessing the size range would be 7-10 for an average volume shell soft boot. I find that soft boots can have considerable differences in shell volume for a given size.

  7. Don't know if Greyhound is still the cheapest. They were the cheapest for shipping kayaks which are also large but low weight. In the past few weeks they've changed their cost structure and it's no longer cheap to ship a kayak. Don't know how the new pricing will affect snowboards.

    I just shipped two boards from Ontario to BC and FedEx was cheaper than Canada Post.
