  1. IMO Livigno(1) and Soelden(3) are the best carving resorts in EU with great grooming and wide slopes.

Livigno is not expensive with alot tax free shops and plenty apres ski things to do at the end of your day and with high precentage of a good weather.

And just 40Km away from S.Moritz.

I think Richard goes to Cervinia(2) a lot were most of his photos taken or on a resort above Rome but I don't have info's about it.

  2. Oh, no. I'll certainly be trying a 15+ scr first.

To be honest my Tinkler 203 has 15m SCR. When I press it is unbelievable how tight it can turns for it size.

IMHO go bigger the feelling of a bigger board is something you won't regret.

I had the same fear when I ordered mine that maybe is going to be to big for me and my riding but finally became my favourite.

The only down side that I can find is that it isn't the perfect board for weekends, It needs little bit of an extra space.

  3. Pokkis,

I've got it and seen it.

Great work, very nice soundtrack and man these slopes are awesome and super wide even your Tinkler 203 looks like the most slalomy board on them.

    Great...!!

    Thanks,Aris :biggthump

  4. Hi Ray,

I own a Tinkler 203 and I'm really stoked with it but I wanted a board claiming these crowded weekends so I e-mailed Mike and Bryan and we ended up with this 175/17.5 board.

I'm approx. 175lbs and Mike informed me that these snow stixs are optional and I desided to have them for a few bucks more and see how the board rides with or without them. Living in EU, if I had to order them severally they will cost me much more. Besides I liked the idea of having them on when Mike mailed me about them.

The only thing that I didn't have a clue was for the split tail but I find it very interesting, especially if it works so good as on my 203 then I think I have all the parametres for another super board. :biggthump

    Thanks, Aris.

  5. I didn't wear a helmet since I had an accident in my vacations in Italy when a skier bump straight in to me.

After this I bought a helmet straight on and I'm wearing it always when I'm riding. I even give it to my little daughter to wear it as my avatar saws cause she's a little bugger.

  6. My feet are equaly the same I've never had the opportunity to try my hard boots on before I buy them due to nobody deals with them in my country and always buy them online.

I had to measure my feet before any of my purchase and always I bought them tight than loose. When I got them I was walking them in home alot before snowboarding and never had a problem with my deeluxe boots, not to mention that I've never had the luxary to have a thermo liners as I said there's nobody to mold them for me and not sure to make them by my own cause I'm afraid of destroy them.

My expirience is that no hard boot will be confortable from the first time, always will be the fact of break them in before you like or dislike them. I don't think that you can judge a boot from the first time you ride it.

Same happent with the boots that I'm riding now. In the begining were little bit stiff make my toes numb but after a couple of sessions they are like a glove and I'm not thinking of changing them cause I don't want to go in to all this over again.

    aris.
