  1. rides softies. He doesn't just ride softies. He rides 'em DUCK.

    I HATE DUCK!

Looks like what Bruce Brown calls, "... the survival stinkbug stance...", in The Endless Summer.

Hope to expose my son to a "real carver" who lays out screaming, horizontal turns this spring or early next winter. If he sees/talks with a speed king, I think he might be turned on enough to get off his Chopper.

Congrats on choosing this supreme, off-beat sport!

Dont hate on duck. I had the unfortunate circumstance of riding whistler/blackcomb for the last 3 days in softies and duck. Its honestly not that bad.

    But...

I started hardbooting when i was 14 or 15. Im almost 19 now so yeah..

  2. Same thing happened to me

what I did was i took the liner out of the boot, took a plyers and released the boot from the binding. I guess you could somehow press in the prong things on the heels to release the boot also. My way worked. hope it somewhat helps you.

  3. Okay, so last night I was was with my uncle who is currently on his way to vail(lucky him) and we were throwing around the idea of going to Chile during the summer for a week to enjoy our idea of fun in the sun. I was wondering if any BOLers have gone and how they liked it. Is it worth it to go all that way?

    Thanks

    Scott

  4. Powder in hardboots rocks! I've had nothing but great experiences riding CO powder in hardboots...spent a good amount of time doing this and I never wished for anything else or felt held back in any way.

much quicker response time when weight shifting

  5. coming form an sub artic climate during the winter, i cant get used to the warmth or my inability to ski or snowboard. I talk to my friends out in colorado and they love to rub it in how they can ski whenever they want. Im so tempted to get some new gear and pack my bags and head west. anyways, im rambling, i cant wait to hit up the wisconsin slopes :( because thats probably the best thing ill get this year.
