It's time to clean out the garage and pair things down to a single board for a while to better align with the number of days I am on the hill. What about a Nidecker tornado SL 147? It will have a tighter sidecut than the Rossi and will be snappier too. Jeff

I think it's relative to several variables. It is a softer flexing board. This in combination with a shorter turn radius due to the sidecut should make it a good match. The variable I can't predict is how the target rider at 100lbs rides now. Are they carving already, either on a freeride board or other carve setup. Do you feel they are ready for the transition to a carve set up if they haven't ridden one yet? If my son weighed 100lbs, I would feel comfortable based on the softer flex and the sidecut. hope it helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. Jeff
