  1. This is not their official website but a demo one I made for them since as far as I'm concerned they should have one.... The emailaddress is not correct either, it should be tomahawksnowboards@hotmail.com If you have any questions about the boards you can always contact me or send the guys at Tomahawk a mail. I'm riding their new boards right now, the ones with slantwall/titanal construction, and I really like them. Great grip and dampening. You can see me (xray) riding one on the link below! http://soulboarders.com/artikel/video.php

    Tomohawk boards

Tomahawk snowboards are custom made snowboards from Rasen Sued Tirol Italy (german speaking part). They are build by two brothers, Sigi and Alois Renzler of which Sigi builds them and Alois them. They cost about 700 euro's (ex shipping) right now and are sandwich/slantwall construction with titanal plate incorperated. They only use the best materials like bases etc.. The boards are tuned very, very well and can be ordered through the above mentioned email address. A bit more information can be found on this demosite (not official and prizes have gone up but it gives an idea)... http://home.tiscali.nl/raymondw/tomahawk/
  4. As far as the liners are concerned, I ride my Fire's with Salomon Custom Fit skiboot liners. They do have the necessary forward flex and have a very nice and snug fit!
  5. Nitro Scorpion, I had that one too, way ahead of its time.... I believe Thedo Remmelink was involved in that one. Anyway, back to the "Burton" hardboots. As far as I know it won't be under the Burton name. No more alpine for Burton. Frankly I don't give a @#$! what the name it will carry will be as long as it's the same or as promised improved.... As soon as I have more information I'll let you know!
  6. Some more information on the Burton hardboots. "We're hoping to have bindings available in the next month, just waiting on production to be completed. Sample boots should be done in time for ISPO and production next summer."
  7. ? My Peter Bauer line is just a signature...
  8. http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=7060&page=2 Talked to some insiders and this is the information I got!
  9. The boards are OK but not great as far as I'm concerned. Rode the WC SL edition, not very turny and not so great dampening, but I'm used to my Tomahawks. Tried the UPZ once but the Burton hardboots I ride normally I think are way better (other liner in it though). Rumor is that there will be new Burton hardboots in 2006! Not under the name Burton but the same and even improved boot. Better toebox, different tongue and little different material!
  10. Riding Tomahawk now, but still using my speeds physics/fire boots combination. Just love it. Had Bombers as well but found them too stiff for me..
  11. Kent I mis one brand of boards, Kessler, the one Urs Eiselin is riding!
