  1. You interested in donating to a high school racing team? I will pay shipping
  2. I am a high school racing coach and always looking for equipment for my kids. The cheaper they can get them for the better. How much?
  3. We have a highschool league in El Dorado County that races slalom and giant slalom both skiing and boarding. It is quite expensive for the kids to belong and also buy carving equipment so I try to find as much inexpensive gear as I can find and let them use it during the season. We had an oxygen donated to us last year that looks identical to this one. If you have any other carving boards or used equipment that is inexpensive and in decent shape I would be interested. Thanks
  4. Is this sold? I am a highschool snowboard coach and am trying to get as many kids onto alpine boards as I can.
  5. I have scrounged up a couple of race boards for my kids. Both are going out over the holidays. Our first race is January 3rd. I'm looking for boots for them. I read the adjoining articles but i don't remember about width issues. How important is width in boots?
  6. Thanks guys. I guess I have to learn the venacular too. Most of my kids are bigger than me. Does that qualify for adult size? And what's up with the boot sizes? Do they do centimeters in high school? Can't teach an old dog metrics when he learned on inches
  7. Thanks I just read and printed all of it. I need to educate myself on what is what before I order stuff. And I'm glad to know that old flatulisms like myself still like to have fun
  8. I am new to this site and a newly appointed/volunteered head highschool snowboard coach. For the last three years I have watched our kids get whomped by carving /racing boards so I'm thinking there is something that we are missing. I have inherited (kind of) a couple of old racing boards that are probably too long, too fat or too old to use. I'm looking for an affordable used setup so I can lead by example. I race USASA and have been riding (not carving) for about ten years. I figure if I can show these kids that I can do it maybe they will to. Because high school kids have fairly limited budgets (as do I) I,m looking for some suggestions about getting some good but inexpensive stuff so I can generate some interest in the kids by providing some demo stuff. Any ideas?:
