  1. Flex scale is unknown, sorry. boots can and have been used in non-intec bindings without problems and without alterations. the pull-handle and heel can be removed if necessary. I'll have a look at the boots regarding the mondo sizing when I can find them. I'm currently moving between england and scotland so stuff is scattered at the moment. Will let you know by tuesday at the latest.
  2. Boots removed to other thread so I only have 1 thread to look at. proflex grinder boots, Size UK 9 (27.5 mondo) £35 plus delivery - SOLD

  8. I teach snowboarding down at Bassingbourn ATR, we may have bumped into each other at some stage. I know I have met a few of the guys a while back. Afraid not. Sorry
  9. I was hoping for a UK buyer due to the costs / trust involved. I think they're too specialized for the UK market.

  11. I still have my old burton freeride 3 strappers in use with my malamutes, although the top strap is now unscrewed. I still hanker for the days of the burton torque though, but thats just age talking.
  12. Having learnt on hardboots, but spending years in softs, I went back to a speedster 172 as my hard-boot board. I took the opinion that I would "grow into it". A few years on I'm still growing into it, but haven't regretted the decision.
  13. Any info on this board (f2 C-Works 159)? Made by GST in Austria, 'fyld' and 'works' are written on it. Thanks
  14. Depends what the preferred stance angles are at CASI, due to the difference in body positioniing with steeper stance angles. I can do it +15 front 0 back without a detrimental effect on body management issues. Riding +30f or above isn't really on as when you're demo'ing its not really showing the pupils. Saying that I tend to set boards up +15f -15r for beginners and teach duck stanced.

  16. Thats the sort of info I need (and would never have thought of). Thanks
  17. After 14 years on boards I had my first ski lesson on Sunday. Idea was for the instructors to feel like a beginner again etc etc, so after taking a few of the ski instructors boarding, it was my turn. Anyways, can you ski in snowboard boots or is the difference in flex crucial. I've arranged to swap hardboot snowboard instruction for ski instruction. (being a softboot instructor will make this interesting to say the least, but you can't even find hardboot instructors in Val d'isere anymore, let alone the UK) so any lesson tips would be useful.
  18. I get none in the Uk, absolutely none. no junk mail every comes through my door either. It may be a terrible place to live now, but at least stopping stuff like this is one of my last remaining rights. :D
