  1. Not till after 6ish...probably get rolling around 8 or so. I'll go get the luge at my buddies house around 8-9, any earlier and it'll melt before the end of the night. Not to mention the people that'll be melting too.

  2. Ok, it’s pretty easy to get to my house but there are a few twists and turns.

Go to RT 3 and take exit 4.

If you are on RT 3(Everett Turnpike) north take a right off of the exit.

If you are on RT 3 (Everett Turnpike) south take a left off of the exit.

You are now on East Dunstable Rd.

Take a left (first left) onto Lund Rd. (There is a set of lights here with a turning lane to take a left.)

Follow Lund through another set of lights. (there will be a catholic high school on your right)

Continue on Lund and count three (3) more streets (after the lights) on your right. (Wildwood then Forest Park then Pell)

Take your fourth (4th) right onto Caldwell. (go slow the next turn comes quickly)

Take you first right onto DeManche. (this street is only two houses long)

It will force you to take a left at the end and you will be pretty much looking at my house. It’s a small tan cape set up on a little hill. My green truck will be in the driveway.

Grab that “weird” bottle of booze from the back of the cabinet (you know the one I’m talking about…sweet stuff is better on the ice.) and bring it to pour down the luge!

    Street address is:

    120 Fairview Av.

    Nashua NH

    Cell # 603-930-2582

  3. Sorry brotha, the nearest boat launch is on the Merrimack River and it's a 4-5 miles away. If you wanted to hit it during the day you can go all the way from nashua to the Lowell dam with pretty deep water. Probably about 20 or so miles of water. When I had a boat I used to like to go for a cruise once and a while down it.

Party's not gonna start till after 6 if you want ot go (I won't be able) but the launch is kind of a pain in the arse.

  4. Nope, I've never been to that party but I've heard it's a lot of fun!

Ughhhh!!! I don't know would be worse...

I'd probably have to go with the ol' bong water as being worse (don't ask) at least the shwill should be a little sweet and watered down.

Not that I'm planning on finding out.

  5. Michelle~Nah, not trying to make points with anyone, just saying my piece. If someone likes what I have to say then all the better, if not...oh well.

(boy the internet is great...I can get my balls busted by someone I met once, and she's 2000 miles away...heh heh heh)

Noah~ Come on over it was a great party last year. I had over a hundred people in my little back yard throughout the night. If not try and come up to Sunapee, I'll be there every other weekend.

  6. Yep, I'll agree that my case may (hopefully) be the exception, but you did say that..."You hardly ever hear of a woman who broke up with her husband because she wanted to drive a corvette and run around with a 19 yr old guy.", unfortunatley it does happen. The trick is to get over it and keep moving.

So I essentially got traded in...so what, I'm supposed to be bitter and judgemental torwards women, I don't think so! Who is that gonna help, certianly not me, certialy not anyone that I want to bring into my life.

The only thing that I kept emotionally from that experience is knowing that I would never cheat/lie on/to someone that I cared about like that. I had zero respect for her afterwards because I found out what she'd been up to (after she left) and she could never own up to it. If she had said that she fell in love with someone else, I could understand (sort of). But to let me wallow for a few months thinking that I had done something to screw up the marrige beyond the point of no return...that's some cold hearted sh*t.

If you judge a current relationship based on their past relationships then you are destioned to fail in any relationship. Everyone is different and every relationship is different and should be treated as such.

Oh well, it was such a long time ago it's comical now...

  7. Sorry Michelle, gotta call you on that one too.

I was married (a long time ago in a galaxy far far away...) and she left me for the bigger house and nicer car. Didn't matter that I was hard working and treated her like gold. It boiled down to the fact that she wanted the upgrade. You should've seen the emails the I found between the two of them...it was like a shopping list of what trips he would bring her on and where they would live and what she would drive. One of them even broke down his investments and when they would come maturity. Didn't matter that he was also married and had three small children (all under 5), he wanted a bit of a trophy wife and she wanted the cash...sounds like a cute couple don't they. :barf:

I should've listened to her father a little closer when he pulled me aside one day and told me that..." She has champagne tastes on a beer budget." Oh well, it was years ago and I dropped my baggage on the courthouse steps.

Noah, thanks for pulling for me like that...Come up to Sunapee Mtn. (I'm supposed to be working with patrol this year) I've got a pass with your name on it.

  8. Terror~That's pretty much the gist of an Ice Luge right there. The only difference is mine gets strapped to a ladder.

To make one you'll need a chest type deep freezer (takes about two weeks), make a form out of 1x6 peices of wood, line with plastic, fill with water...blah blah blah...ICE LUGE! I've found the best way to make the tracks is to use a router. That way you can get a nice slalom course on it or just go for the straight speed run. I like to do both. It will need some maint. during the night (booze eats the ice quickly) so keep a chisel and a hammer close by to clean up the track.

Willy~Hope to see you, but you can leave the boat at home. We're talking city living here.

  9. I'm extending an invite to all my friends in the Bomber community to come over my house for a party on Aug. 13th.

I'll be having a keg of cheap american beer (PBR Baby!) and an Ice Luge for various adult beverages. (bring that bottle that's been sitting in the cabinet for a few years, we'll get rid of it)

Burgers and dogs on the grill.

    Horseshoes out back.

singing, dancing and general carrying on will be had by all.

If you have a good dog (plays well, isn't spooked by a bunch of strangers) the bring him/her along.

If you're in the area of Southern N.H. (Nashua) then swing on by!

Send me an e-mail for directions rustyinnh@yahoo.com

    Hope to see ya there!

    Rusty

  10. Oooops my bad looks like it'll be the following week the 15-19th. I'll narrow the exact date down next week. But I was thinking the Tuesday or Wed as one of Bill's and my other buddies usually has one of those days off.

I'm also having a house party on the 13th but I'll start another thread for that.

Oh you just don't know the power of my paper, the sharpness of my scissors and the hardness of my rock!!!!! Wait, I didn't mean....awww forget it.

    Anybody else?

  11. Bordy and his wife (the lovley and talented Christy) are staying with me for a few weeks while visiting family and friends. I was gonna see if they wanted to hit the park soemtime during the week of the 8th through the 12th. (or even the week after)

I can even get tickets for $25 through the corporate juggarnaut I show up to every morning. (who needs raises when we have six-flag tickets...whoo-crap)

Ailsing, there'll be a seroius rock, paper, scissors battle if there's only one front seat left on superman...

  12. oooh. rusty is from NH... he'd have to be a reaaaaaaaally nice guy for me to travel for him

Well I don't know if I'm that nice...maybe just reaaally nice and a little evil. *insert wry smile*

Jheese, ya make it sound like NH is another country. I could practically throw rock into MA from my house.

I think that's Randy that's in his 40's, (not that there's anything wrong with that) I'm not quite there yet. Another 6 years before I join those ranks.

Billy/Noah...Thanks for the cheering section, that cracked me up.

  13. I'm gonna try and go up with a buddy of mine who's an ambassador (and a skier) over there. No plates for me this time of year though. I've been tossed over the handlebars a few times in the slush so I'll stick with a BX board and softies.

I'll probably have a straw cowboy hat on trying to rip turns where ever it's firm enough. Say "Hi" if ya get the chance.

Dave Pushee...are you gonna be there?
