I was in Val D'Isere last week. Only saw about 6 other people on hard-boots there. No shops in Val had any hard-boot kit at all (I was even told by some guy to try the museum). Tignes was the same.

I'm shocked. I used to go to those resorts (mostly Tignes and Val Thorens) in 98, 99 and 2000 and hardbooters were all over the place. what happened to them?

911 turbo vs viper

That's easy...give them very long and straight road and viper will lead.

put them on curvy roads and viper will be behind big time. The chasis of viper is from the stone ages...it's all in the engine.

Now, put a 911 GT3 instead of the 911 turbo...and it will eat both vette and viper on both curvy and straight lines...

then again,...I maybe wrong as I usually am according to someone else :D

must admit I am looking into the Lotus too. Though I am not sure how radical the changes are between the Elise and Exige? I heard it's just cosmetic....if so...an Elise will do just fine for me.

what I noticed was that the corvette takes off on the straight line...but in the corners,..the lotus gains a lot of ground back,....

hmm...nice looking cateks ...say around 200$ for the bindings....that leaves 221$ for the board. I'd say 50 to 75$ above the 'value' for the board. not that outrageous....

but then again, who and what sets the real value? I scratch my head too when I see almost new madds sell on ebay for the low 300$.

If it's bended inwards indeed, then I have a hard time understanding how this could have happened as a result of riding. Anyways, why don't you contact catek directly?
