Boot fitter said I have all the tools to do it but the plastic that is used for these is too hard and will melt it. Is this true??
My problem is front foot baby toe getting squished. One, two days riding is ok but i just rode 8 days in a row and its sore. Let me know your experience on this, I think i'm going to go back to the
T700's (wider boot) till I can resolve this issue.
The feeling of a true carve is "Snowgasmic"

so whats it ride like ...one day?? Too soft, too stiff

I went thru a couple of these in the late 90's early 2000's First sold under the name aggression then Volant. Was a fun board you just have to be careful with them, does not like to be abused.

Three weeks after surgery Full hip replacement, walking with no limp, pain free, back to work. Looking forward to stepping back in the plates end of Feb. beginning of March. If you know someone dealing with hip pain caused by lack of cartilage I highly suggest getting this easy and quick recovery surgery done, do not wait any longer. Don't get me wrong I used all the Oxy I was given to relieve the pain that's why they give it to you. In the hospital at 6 am on the couch at 2 pm "walking" with crutches.
Again thanks for the encouragement to get it done.
Think snow,
Clint

I am going to research this some more and speak to my doctor about BHR, if its a fit for me as I am very active. Carving 35-40 days a year 2 softball leagues, Mt and dirt biking, wake boarding...
Great to hear the encouraging info from the mouth of the experienced bionic carvers.
Thanks again,
Clint

The harder I carve the more I go back to the"keeping my chest pointing towards the fall line" a skiing fundamental that took me 15 years to master. 50-60 times a year type skiing, I've spent the last 2 years of riding (my 17th year of hardbooting) getting back to this and I'm railing turns like a mad man. The best alpine snowboarding advise I've ever received was from Buell here- "stop touching the snow/ground !!!" Well I spent the day railing turns that I'd be proud to show anyone on this board in some of the most challenging conditions riding the first alpine snowboard I purchased from Sean (17 years old?) Donek AX, that's right an AX without the "ess". When in doubt my advise is to move your bindings forward and stay on that nose, things seem to come around just fine. This advise comes for a guy who thinks the biggest thrill is snapping turns off the tail of a board. Kipp
Amen, I put a BP plate on a T"ess" effortless with this type of riding style. All forward, Lower your outside hand.

JB Weld it back together. Couple of big C Clamps and two 2x4's use something thin to get the epoxy in deep, good as used!! My NSR tail delamed 3 years ago still holding strong. But yes my Kessler 180 has something about it that makes it bite more. Not as forgiving as the NSR. Would love to try a 168 Kessler though would have to try it before buy it cause in my mind its too short. I do wish my 180 was shorter though.

One will state ski's can not carve as tight as a board. This is a whole different level of comparison, one i do not think alpine can compete with. You would end up in the net with just your bindings connected to your boots and possibly very broken!!

I do not see this board on the site. I have a T177 and am looking to find out what is a similar board from Donek. So I don’t buy a similar Donek. I want something more stable, lay it out board. Don’t get me wrong I like the ax just don’t want something similar. Thanks for any input.

Loon I’m up till Sunday late. Thanks LMK.

Ill take the fintec's if not sold. I'll pick them up this weekend.
-
ahh!! Might be too soft... thanks. Still would love to try it, just like every other board made.
-
Interested I had same board non T. What are the Bruces magic #'s and do you have any idea on the weight range.
-

I have a Severe Terrain that I ride w/ plates love it. This looks amazing!!

Have not ridden this all year stepped into it this weekend and ripped it. So stable, nose stiff, no wash out, no plate needed. Not for the faint of heart but damn did I have a good time. If you ride hard and have the means to try one don't pass it up. Going hard i can only ride it 3-4 hrs at time, but every minute is priceless.. Guy I was riding w/ comment "i think you would of had to jump out of a plane to go any faster!!" Not to mention its an 09 model cant read the spec any more they are carved/worn off.

I run a BBP4mm on a Donek metal Axxcess its a softer board rockered its fun and can ride it all day effortless. I put the plate on a 2009 NSR 180 the board lost its stabllity at high speeds to stiff too many moving parts took it off never put it back on It doesnt need the plate. Just my 2 cents!!

Thanks should probably just get something after 2011 to take advantage of the technology, dual camber, side cut etc.

Does anyone know about this board looking for a new soft boot board for all mountain riding after it dumps. A point it anywhere and go, but still wish to pop out of the woods and lay some effortless carves on the groomers. Any input would be great. Thanks
