  1. i might be wrong, but isn't the litigator the board with the waves in the edges? the five point system or something like that? i demoed one of the wavy boards and couldn't get used to it, it felt all chattery when i tried to edge. i might be wrong about the model though.

  2. exept i need a powder board. i am 6'3 220lbs and just moved to steamboat(yay!!) but the only board currently in my quiver is a 171 factory prime. i love it to death on the courderoy, but i need a more

'freecarve' setup for the pow. anyone with a whip, please email me through bomber.

    thanks,

p.s. the boat is shaping up to be killer this year, we had snow over the weekend, about a foot and a half up on rabit ears!!!

  3. hey, i probably sound like i am whoring myself out, but does anyone out there in steamboat know of/have any employment positions available this fall? i just moved in to the dorm at CMC, and i really need to get some income, and i get class credit if i can work in the industry. anyhow, sorry for the self pimping, but thanks for looking.

  4. Finally!! :biggthump

i will be staying at Breck for the week, from saturday the 18 to the 25. i probably wont be online to check this, but if anyone is up at breck and sees me, say hi. i will be on a blue burton fp, and probably having a miserable time dodging rednecks. see ya' hopefully!!!

  5. joecarve, full face is nice, saved my face, but they do get hot in warmer weather, with more coverage on the side of your face, and earphones don't fit as well in mine, but that might just be me. i like them, but i also have a half face that i wear on those balmy days.

  6. monday=holiday=me at breckenridge. :biggthump

i'll probably be riding the beaver run super chair in the morning, riding the top of columbia and american, if columbia is closed for race training. i am still pretty new to hardboots, so i would appreciate it if anyone woould be willing to cruse with me and give me some pointers. i will be riding a blue burton factory prime, and to make myself easy to spot, a blue and crome flamed full face helmet, with a killer mullet coming out the back. if you see me, just come up and say hi.

oh yeah... my name is Brett, so you don't have to aroud asking for deeluxflow. :argue:

  7. consider a season pass like the buddy pass, they pay themselves off really quick. mine paid itself off in three days, but i got a teen discount.

also checkout the SKE card, it get you discount ticket prices, and works like a season pass, ie. no ticket window. i think the card itself is free, and cuts the price of tickets, and it charges them to your credit card.

  8. last january, i was out on peak 10 at breck. It was probably my third time out on hardboots, so i wasn't very comfortable yet, i was cruising down to the right of the lift(centenial?), still trying to get used to the feel of the drasticly different angles of the plate bindings, when some idiot tourist comes flying out of the trees 20 ft. downhill of me. i throw on the brakes, then wash out 'cause i'm not used the the setup, and go flying down into a snow making machine, spin around, and smack my head on a pine tree. cracked the shell of my Giro Chute helmet, my i got out with only a light concussion. first thing i did was go get a full face.

  9. i hit it today, it did rock, but the wind was crazy!!! the lift lines were really slow. Scotts, it starts right at the top of the 6 chair, so go skiers right from the top of the peak 8 superconnect, and take the 6chair up.

P.S. i think the tiny number of chairs has something to do with the wind.
