  1. Actually, you nailed all three right on the head, Dingbat. I just got back from a half day at our local bump. They seem too soft for my liking, and are not wide enough. They are in great shape, but then again, their pushing 20 years old. They're flat out no longer comfortable.
  2. Ok...a bit about my feet and ankles. My feet are average to wide. I don't seek out wide size boots or shoes, but they definitely tend to be more comfortable. And I wear a size 11.5 - 12, depending on the brand. Anklewise, they are not narrow. They are strong as an ox; I've never sprained one, and since I work as a powerlineman and climb poles frequently they are in excellent shape. My feet measure out at 11.25 long, 4.375 wide.
  3. Hi- I'm hoping that some of you will chime in and help me a bit with selecting a new pair of boots for this season. I've been a hardbooter since the very early days; I'm talking Koflach Mountaineering boots in Burton bindings on the original Elite 150's and Cruzer 165's. My current stick is a Volkl Renntiger 178GS w/ Snopro Racing bindings. My boots, however, are Raichle Snowboarder Racings from the mid 90's. They were ok for last year, just getting back into the swing of things, but it's definitely way past time to upgrade. I'm 6', 210, and even though I'm 40 I can still go at it pretty hard. Any sugesstions?
  4. I love my Craig Kelly. It's a 1990 Extreme that I rode from 1991 - 1997 with Burton Plates and Raichle Snowboarder Racing boots. What a great ride it was - much softer that the Safari Comp 2 I was used to (and still have). It's a wallhanger now, but has so many good memories attached to it. BTW, the Burton Performer on the wall was a dump find in my hometown. Near museum quality...I can't believe someone threw it out!
  5. I am still wicked interested. I did, however, do some foraging about the RT's and found this thread here on BOL. [h=1]10/11 Volkl RT GS![/h]Looks like that RT GS 178 went for $200. Sounds like your 'Tiger is in superior shape. I would really like to make a deal with you. Shoot me your best price @ KvnSnow@gmail.com and we'll make this happen.
  6. Hi Lamberto. I'm definitely interested. 2 questions...W or W/o bindings, and do you have Paypal? Thanks...looking forward to hearing from you.
