I have been snowboarding for a while and want to jump into hard boots, have wanted to for years. So, I just bought some hard boots and TD3 4 hole step in bindings. I am know looking for a newer carving snowboard. At this time, I frequent the smaller mountains in Maine with my 10 year old son. (Have a summer/winter house near Shawnee Peak) and need something that can handle the bumps, packed stuff and what ever else these smaller mountains can throw. Also, I am new at hard boots - but will take to them soon I would imagine. I live in Massachusetts.
