Curious if anyone has a surplus of 4 pack tickets. I have 4 friends coming to town looking for one week day on the hill.

Check craigslist for LL lift tickets

As if I wasn't already envious of the LCI crew!  Fun video!

Who is Ice?  Powerful and smooth!

It's Kevin with his great carving style.

  3. Eldora is decent, awesome carving resort for riding midweek and unfortunately, really crowded on weekends. Elevation gain is same as Loveland, although better variety of slopes, more blacks, decent blues with crazy fast 6 chair lift. Also, they do early mornings on Wednesdays, opening at 8am. Big advantage, no traffic, less mileage from Fort Collins.

    Included to Ikon pass.

A few years ago we were boarding at Vail. At lunch we went into Two Elks Lodge. As you enter you are greeted by the "Kleenex Lady": women who greet you as you come in from the cold with box of Kleenex and say "tissue?".

I was flabbergasted. I got thinking - imagine how far one would have to commute to afford to live if your job was the Kleenex Lady?

They cater to the rich and entitled. They don't really care about your ability on the slopes. Their lift capacity is so high that the slopes are crowded. Not a good place to practice carving.

Absolutely disagree with your last comment, you just have to know where to carve. Some of the slopes are crowded, as usual like on most of the big resorts, even on small like LL. Vail is great for carving, various, wide slopes, where you can carve all day, from 8.30 to closing.
