  1. It's not on the web site yet, but we've developed a new model called a Flux. It takes the Saber construction and turns it into a freeride board with a bit bigger shovel with a hair more decamber. It gives the carving performance of the saber with a bit tighter radius and the option to take it in the powder.

Would you be open to a trade on a 5-day used Jones Mountain Twin? LOL!

  4. Hi Johnny, the bag has been spoken for, but I hadn't posted yet. It's a pain in the butt not getting notifications!

Did you recover well from that concussion you had last season? I hope you're ready and able to ride this year :)

I'm counting down the days! I'm not sure I'll be able to ride any weekdays/nights, and I'll be at Tremblant most weekends, and I also picked up some ski boots for this season.

I saw at the ski show that you can get books of tickets that will work at most places around here, something from the gatineau ski patrol? I'll try to post the link tomorrow. I think there's a 20 ticket book for $500 and a 10 ticket book for $275.

  5. Love it when these "one boot" threads pop up, my favorite subject.

I've finally sprung for a new AT boot that I think will do the job nicely. (borrowed a couple pics)

    50bcd0bb4332eMain_Pegasus.jpg

wanted the softer TX ntn for years to add tele to the mix, but couldn't pass up the 200$ price on these to have the tech/dynafit toe for split board upgrade.

Same shell as their Maestral made with softer PU plastic for 100 flex.

Scarpa's shells run 26.5/27 for a 307 base sole length, 27.5/28 bsl314, so gambled a tight fit for shorter bsl and won. The standard liner w/free flexing cuff fit a bit narrow for the ball of my feet (unmolded). After trying out several different liners for various fit and flex the dynafit vulcan liners I was using in my 324s may negate the need to punch the shells:biggthump

The old raichle thermo wrap liners stiffened them up almost as much as the plastic cuffed nordica granprix liners.

Now however I have to dust off the burton plates as no compatibility for stepin heels:(

    anxious for snow

How do they fit into your bindings? Do any mods need to be made to the boots?

  6. I've always ride with stepin bindings, this winter I want to try that famous "lateral flex".

So I'm looking for standard bail bindings fitting upz 26.5 boots: f2 medium, snowpro small,...

An exchange plus money is possible since I have a pair of Virus Powerlock 3 stepin for sale.

I've got some Raichle X-Bones standard bindings that I have no use for, let me know if you're interested.

  7. So I'll be riding in Whistler on Tuesday April 1, the 3rd, 4th and 6th. I can't ride the whole time as we're going for a wedding. I'm bringing some softies and a Jones Mountain Twin. Someone told me about Max 4 or something? He said it was a tour that caters to different skill levels, how do I find out about that?
