Does the SBJ cover a lot of alpine or is it mostly freestyle stuff, becuase i saw that there was an interview with Shaun White, who doesnt alpine but rides freestlyle. So is it more freestyle?

I tried to post this in a differnt thread but no one replied so I'll start a new thread...
Im new to this and I was wondering is about a 65* angle normal for someone just starting out, becuase I know some people who say start out with lower angles but then the boots hang off the edge. If it makes any difference to tell you what my board size is and such here it is...

Ohh and I read the page about setting up my bindings and so as of now at about 65* the boots dont hang off the edge they are even when looking at it from above.
Any input would be excellent, THANKS.

What helmet would anybody recommend at all, thats not noisy that does keep your head warm and is good in the saftey area. Any sugesstions I've been riding since i was 9 off and on (14 now, freeride only) but I have never had a helmet and I feel that since im going into alpine that i should get one...any suggestions. Thanks.

I wish I was good enough to get out there, I am really anxious for next season, it would be my first season in hard boots maybe in a few years I could enter some of these slalom races. Is there any age limit? HAVE FUN IF YOU GO! :p ;) :)

Maybe next season I can get up there with you guys, it would be my first year in hard boots on an alpine setup. Hopefully i can get up there if my homework load and stuff that like that isnt big next season. :D :p

In 94...lets see i was only 5 at the time and was no where near snowboarding (started all mountain on freestyle at 9) so I dont recall anything about that but I can kind of see what your saying.

Im looking for the same ive so far only been to Mt. Pilchuck in everett and they were kind of befuddled by the full alpine setup and couldnt help much i still need to find somewhere, they said try Seattle Snowboard Connection (aka SnoCon) but yah i dunno...
