  2. Well Im 14, and actually I do have a combustion cannon, but I dont use Oxygen fuel to ignite mine, I use a flammable spray in which i spray it into the combustion chamber, then I screw the lid on and ignite a spark from a lantern igniter. Next thing you hear is a big BOOM! And whatever I was shootin is gone.

I havent used my cannon since I had a bad incident. The ignitor wasnt igniting and there was fammable material for about 5 or 6 shots remaining. I was getting mad so I took off the back end and looked into the cannon to make sure the ignitor was working properly. Of course the ignitor sent a spark and the flames came flying not out the front but towards me, luckily I was at a beach near my house and I threw my cannon in there.

Ohh yah my mom was sitting there watching the whole thing along with my step dad and step sis [she got a kick out of it  ]

But that guy is crazy using Oxygen Fuel, Im in chemistry now, and I know that stuff will explode along with Hydrogen:D You can make the biggest explosion with that stuff (Sounds like a bomb). Ok I'm done!

  3. The hardboots are actually really comfortable. I have been riding softboots off and on for about 4-5 years and I got my first hardboots this season thinking the same, I was shocked they were really comfortable. I got the Raichle 413 at $125 here at bomber I thought they would be a good beginner boot and I hear they are. As for my bindings Im not liking them I have been having troubles, but dont have the time right now to fix them, I still have school and all. Maybe Summer time I will fix them.

Bottomline, if the choice were up to me I would go to hardboots! :D :) :p

  4. Yah, I have been in soft boots on a freestyle board for quite some time off and on but, I hope the transition will work out as well for me. I was going to set the bindings a little lower then a 65* maybe aroung 55*/50* I dont know yet, but I think I kinda got it now.

Speed Demon, according to Oxygen, the recommended weight range for the 149 Proton is 88 to 143 lb. The flex should be just right for you.

I'm 5'7", 130 lb and a strong intermediate rider. The Proton 149 works great for me. The board has a really good edge hold and is easy to turn. The 149 should be good board for you also. You'll be able to go fast without having to worry the length is holding you back.

Since you already have it, ride it for a while before thinking about switching boards. I wish I would have gotten the Proton 149 years ago.

So I take it you like this board. I hope I learn to like it as well!
