  1. You can tell I'm a slow typer. Thanks, Dave!
  2. It takes a few minutes to measure your feet: http://www.bomberonline.com/store/boots/Sizing_boots.pdf Aside from not taking half sizes into account, this guide is spot on. I'd guess you're more around a 29 but converting US to mondo isn't very exact, hence the measuring advice. Make sure you measure both feet. Good luck!
  3. Price lowered to $200 shipped.
  4. 177/21.5/10.4 radius/glass/flex for a 200 lb. person Bought it with 5 days on it. Put a few mornings on it myself. base/edges/topsheet are pristine. Base currently covered in moly hydro wax. Can be scraped and photographed if needed. more detailed pics available. SOLD
  5. Functionally, a 10/10. Cosmetically, a 9.5/10. Includes an extra toe and heel, as well as the forward lean tool. I replaced the crappy stock hardware with real stuff from Lowe's. Extra T-nuts and bolts are included. SOLD
  6. I am 23 and I literally have hundreds of reasons why I think carving will NEVER catch on. The only hope for the sport to get media attention, at least in my opinion, is for the sport to have a young American poster child who can win gold in the PGS, and then get arrested a few times, have tabloid photos (if he/she can make tabloids, that is) of him/her smoking weed, and then have all of America watch to see if that person can repeat olympic gold 4 years later. Basically, we need someone along the lines of Michael Phelps, Bode Miller, or at least Lindsey Jacobellis. As far as the products go, carving products seem to be more performance over style, which is fine for us, but consumers love style over performance. Even Catek bindings come in 5 different colors. My TD3s with their red and yellow are styled like a McDonald's. Most in my generation wouldn't be caught dead on the slopes with a product like that. On a final note, boarder x riders don't wear speed suits. According to one interview, there was a gentleman's agreement not to because nobody wants to see a guy in a nut-hugging suit. Our sport just isn't very bro, and the racing niche seems to already be filled with skiing events.
  7. Hi. I hope you all are still active. I'm planning 2 days in ellicottville. Should I do 1 day @holiday valley and 1 day @ holimont, or add you opinion on how i should break up the 2 days.
  8. I know it's an old thread, but these work well to keep from slipping when wearing fintecs. They're called yaktrax skitrax and I picked them up for $12 off of Amazon. the Boots are 30.0 and the skitrax is size medium.
  9. what is the maximum size board you can put in it? I'd assume a little more than a 181?
  10. liking the 177 as well what's your email?
  11. http://cgi.ebay.com/BOMBER-TRENCHDIGGER-PLATE-BINDINGS-BRONZE-NEW-SNOWBOARD-/260729142623?pt=Snowboarding&hash=item3cb4aafd5f These aren't mine and it looks like the seller doesn't know anything about them (doesn't know what degree the cant disks are), but there is 1 bid for a hundred bucks so it doesn't look like too bad of a deal since they're new in the box. There's another auction for 3 degree disks and bumpers as well
  12. Hi all, I am new to hardbooting, though I've ridden softies for 10 years. About a month ago I literally killed a few nerves in my feet from riding with my soft boots too tight (I have most of the feeling back now ), and I always rode with burton's stiffest boards/boots/bindings. That was the final straw and I bought a set of stratos pro boots used and a set of td3s. Anyway, I am unsure how I should setup the boots to best suit me as I begin hardbooting. The boots have the orange tongues on them now, and attached is a pic of the curent lean and spring tension. Also, the microcant adjusters are on the bottom-most setting on both boots. I am about 195 lbs. I am looking for advice along the lines of "start with the bottom nut "here", the top nut "here", and the microcant "here". I am NOT looking for advice on how to cut the boots, install new springs, douse them in gasoline, light them on fire, spray paint them green, or how to add a second bathroom to the downstairs. I live in a college apartment and have a hex key and the adjusting tool that came with the boots to work with. Thanks!
  13. I take it this guy didn't respond to your E-mail as well, JH?
