I switched from intec to standard TD2's this season to experiment with the flex. I love them and have found no difficulty getting in or out. The ride is noticeably different. That is one reason I find it interesting that some people ride mixed intec/standard, it just seems that it would feel odd.

Just don't get lost at Heavenly or make a wrong turn. You can skate for miles and miles and miles...

I use a Ski Visions Ski Sharp to maintain edges
Hey Randy, I have been considering this tool. Can you recommend any of the additional inserts for this?

Wow, holy smokes, that really is a long board. Allright BOL'ers, who's tough enough to step up and ride the 446?
Not me, it needs "binding holes".

Thanks Randy. Definitely do post your impressions afterwards.

Mt. Rose is my home mountain. When will you be riding there? Maybe we can take some runs together. I'm still just a newbie carver and I actually have a private lesson set up for Tuesday.
Is your lesson with an instructor at Rose or a private party? I am always telling people what's available so this would be real good to know.
Scott be sure to post when you will be there. There is a whole crew that rides Rose.

I know you asked for a 210. . . I have a 205 that I would consider parting ways with. It rides notably better than most of the existing 210 designs. there are a couple 210 boards that I personally believe were ill concieved by the people ordering the boards (built wonderfuly by the builder, but a bad combo of specs).
Just curious, what 210 specs you find poorly designed?

I won't be there but I will be at SES this year. Riding with girls was very fun two years ago.

Equipment is hard to find. The biggest shopping selection is online. Here in Reno, NV there is one store with one type of alpine board, boot and binding.

You should definitely go to Mt Rose while you're there. There is usually a pack of carvers. It's a great mountain for carving. Post at www.tahoecarvers.com to hook up with others.

I put a note in the comment box that I had the coupon. I will get to ride them for the first time on Tuesday!

So, to get extra springs to try out that means 2 shorts and 2 longs?

It doesn't hurt to ask for what you really want :Dshameless promotion of self interestDaneille

I am confused about the short and long springs. Is one boot short and the other long or what?

Elvis Day at Mt. Rose is an annual event. I have never been since it is always on a day that I work.

Does that mean the BTS in the Bomber store is a pre order?

Alaska isn't new in the movies. For quite a few years now Standard Films has has had an awful lot of first descents and big mountain riding in their films.

I'm interested in this too. I just got some new boots and TD2's. I want to play around with standard (influenced by Extremecarve of coarse :D ) and don't want to mark up my pretty boots.

I'm just sitting here waiting and wailing, mostly wailing. I am not very good at waiting. We have also been having and inversion and the temps up top are warmer than they are down here in Reno, not conducive to snow making.

I am wondering what the protocol is at the bootfitter. Do you tip or what? Any advice?

Ken, it would be great if you could Cafe Press T shirt those. Any chance?

I think that I have been doing it wrong all these years. I have always put my pants on before my boots.
