Sorry they have been sold.

I've got you all beat. Look at that original wood grain. Peg style bindings, and a rope tow for the flats.

Just to prevent confusion eventually caused by the typo; the boots are called UPZ RC10, where the currently available model is called UPZ RC12.
Thank you for proofreading my mistake.

Hey Bill welcome back. I'm almost 60 and still riding and carving. I started riding in 1990. I started Soft-Boot Carving with a Winterstick Severe Terrain late 90's. Gradually my angles advanced. Now I am riding a Arbor A-Frame with Salomon Caliber Bindings and Malamute Soft boots. Stiff set up and my friends look at me like I'm crazy because I'm running a 36-39° degree front and 33-36° rear. My Hardboot set up I'm running a Coiler Nirvana with TD3 Step-in bindings and RPZ 10 boots. 50° on the front and 46° on the rear. For us old guys, step-in bindings are recommended. I have a Swoard Extreme Carver 175 if interested.

There was or is a snowboard instructor at Solitude, Utah that rides Switch. His name is Tom. I haven't been there in quite a few years so I am not sure if he is still there. He made beautiful turns riding backwards.

P.S. If you never have seen Fear of a Flat Planet, check out the hardbooting scene around the 12:45 mark. Peter Bauer and Jean Nerva. Hardbooting 1992! You can find on Youtube.

I laid there thinking how this was cool experience for a good cause, but sometimes when I looked straight up it was dark. I was in radio contact with Ski Patrol just in case until radio silence for the 'Search.' A memory I will never forget.

Hey Drop,
Wondering about the year, flex and price of the Swoard?
Thanks, Mike
I had to dig through past conversations to find the Info. I purchased it from fellow member barryj. This is the info I received from Barry.
The 2017 Gen 5 Swoard ExtremeCarver 175 Hard flex, Retail is $762US, I spent $833 for it with shipping last March. I covered it in a 3M protective film, (which you can remove) so top sheet is still immaculate and base is 9+ Swoard says ideal weight range is 190lbs - 220lbs. I used it maybe for two-three groomer days. 10-20 runs? Reason for selling - I have a Gen 4 (2015?) Swoard Extremecarver 175 Medium flex which I love and a Swoard 168 Dual which I loved, but the Swoard guys had been after me to get on (the supposed correct) "Hard" flex for my 225lbs. weight, so I did..... and I think it's Too stiff for my taste.
Length 175cm
Width 23.1cm
Sidecut Radius 13.3
I haven't put very many days on it since I owned it as I have been rotating my boards each year.

When I worked at Solitude, I volunteered to help certify a Search and Rescue Dog. I was buried in a very small snow cave 5 feet under. I had a two-way radio, Ava-Lung and my Beacon. Even knowing that is was a controlled situation it was freaky at times. I was buried for a total of 45 minutes. The Dog found me! And it was my 40th Birthday!

That is a very good question. I purchased this from a fellow member. I have only put a few rides on it. Stiff camber as I am around the 200 lbs. range
P.S. There is one interested party ahead of you.
Are you still interested?
Hard boots on a twin tip?

My first experience with Hardboots was on a K2 All Mountain Board early 2003-04(?). I saw a guy a couple of time with a 1997 Winterstick Severe Terrain with Hardboots. I know because I had the same board with soft boots and a mild carver stance. It has become one of the boards on my snowboard bench.
