  1. El grande is the only choice for 114kg (240-250lbs) I think. I would also take length over width, unless you have U13 boots. And you're likely looking at 11+ sidecut.  If you want something to be stiff with that weight - you're looking at BX boards.

I really liked NS legacy, that's 174/27cm. I tried Donek Inclide 180/28cm - it was too big in either dimension: I would like 180x26 or 170x28 instead.  I liked Prior MFR too - probably my fav among "classic" boards. Now I have NS Chairman and it's compatible to boards I listed above.  I also have SG Force 165FAT (Fat meas wide, but it's not very wide at 26.x cm) - way more stable then chairman and better offpiste then I expected.

It's very hard to find something that matches that criteria. Lib tech skink ape - but it comes with wavy edges. NS doesn't make Legacy in 174cm anymore.

    I'm 6"4/220-225lbs.

  2. Not sure if I want to sell it, so it's more a feeler post.

Got Apex Race plate, V2 version (short nose) with UPM and 4x4 mounts.  Prefer to sell with both types of mounts: great if you have UPM board and can move plate between boards. Comes with all hardware (screws, axles, etc). Plate was used, but in great conditions.  Even though you'll see Allflex on podiums, this will fit better for freecarving: can be mounted to any board and no issues with snow between board and allflex plate.

Looking for $600 OBO, open to trades. Show me what you got.

Located in Chicago, but will be in Denver with plate this weekend (Epic pass area).

    Pics coming tonight.

  3. Selling barely used Burton Driver X US11. Used may be 15 day, since I mostly ride alpine.  Cannot get perfect fit - going back with Malamutes.

Boots in good condition, have minor visible scratches, mostly on front part. Comes with extra J-bars to prevent heel-lift and extra lace.

Looking for $250. Located in Chicago, but will be in Denver in two weeks - can bring boots with me.

  4. Does anyone have a stiff Virus board they want to part with? Something not too long, not crazy narrow but crazy enough to have fun at local hills.

Terminator, Tantalus, Gladiator, Interceptor, something like that: 165-175cm, waist 17-19cm.

  5. I got same thing, and I was riding my boots for couple years like that. Then I complained about it to my friend and we remolded boots properly. Day and night! I was able to ride all the day and unbuckled e, couple of times. You may try to ride without insole, too. To me it's way more comfy.

Long story short: remold em once again.

  6. Hi all.

I guess all the resorts are booked because of chrismas and holidays. I still have some vacation days left for 2017 and thinking about opening that season. It's not that snowy in Chicago, you know. I'm not sure if anyone is coaching, but I'd like to join some camp or riders training. Never tried but who knows.  Will probably go by myself - that's why I'm looking to join someone

What are my chances last minute?

  7. Full contact twist is interesting. Gotta add this one to my routine.

I'm probably on the younger end of this forum. Squats, deadlift, press and usual weightlifting stuff. Added running, which was replaced by road bike (more fun, abs/back are used too). I don't want to go too deep into weightlifting, as with 6"4 I'll be over 100 kilos/220lbs quite easily. Overall I'm trying to have 4-5 days of training, but it's hard to keep it that way during summer.
