  1. famliy was in tokyo at time and seems to be alright. most of what they knew is now gone though.
  2. posted the first one in the wrong fourm. So i got together a hardboot set up and was hoping maybe someone could meet up with me at Chestnut MTN in north IL and spend a day with a young new carver on Sunday March 13. 9am

  6. I got my first set of hard boots in a couple days ago, Oxygen Kryptons. They feel good except for a few areas. On my left foot, my pinky toes feels like its a little cramped, and on my right theres a pressure point on my heel. So is there anyway to mold these at home? The closest ski shop is just hard to get to.

  14. Im searching for a pair burton plates, td1's, td2's, or a nice plate binding with 3D disk only, in the range or ~$180. Think in advance
  15. are the burton step-ins stiff enough to race, and can i trust that the binding wont release on me? thx
  16. so the unicant mounts to the deck, then the bindings mount to the cant?
  17. so i need both lift and cant for my softboot set-up as the binding arnt doing enough, so what can i do/make to help?

  19. so i was hit by straight-liner today at the hill:freak3:. but the board took a few chips. this would be my first snowboard repair and im not really sure what to do. i really dont care if it doesnt look perfect, just need to something to stop the chipping. thanks for all of the help
  20. i emailed burton for edge angles and this is what i got (burton speed 160) "2 degree side and 1 degree base." but my tool is "Side-edge 88 and 89 degrees; base edge 0.5 and 1 degrees" can i still do the edge?
  21. when i was racing, i would finish the turn right after the gate and begin the next turn about half way to the next gate if you skid into the turns, wont you lose all your speed? and the speed you are losing from skid, how do you get it back so fast?
  22. I started running some GS courses today, and im over shooting some of the gates. The first 3 gates are fine but the instant i hit the 4th-5th gate, i cant carve through it and i totally lose it. It almost feels at if im entering the turn to fast. Im totally lost and would love all the help i can get. Thanks
