Very interested in these... EDIT: Actually, going to have to pass. After checking with a boot fitter, seems I need a slightly smaller shell...

I'm up in Whistler for the night. Will be on the mountain first thing in the am. Will be riding the hard boots, but will have to be on the Whistler side of things for the Men's Super-G which starts at 11:30. I want to catch Ligety and Bode, and barring any delays or major crashes, they should be finished up by noon, or 12:30 or so. Any chance we can get a later meeting spot higher up the mountain? Actually I'll be bringing the Burton Speed with the old Burton RacePlates on it! Sounds like you will be watching the Women's GS from the spectator area at the bottom of Creekside on the 24th. I might be up for heading up again that morning... and for riding an afternoon session. I'm guessing Whistler has half-day lift tickets... - Skate -

I will be heading up to Vancouver from Park City, UT. Thinking of bringing the board(s) and/or skis and making a trip up to Whistler for a day or two. Right now looking at getting a lift ticket for Friday, Feb 19th. Would ski/ride for a bit, then make my way over to the Super-G race course and watch some of the action from slope-side, and then catch a couple more runs afterward. It would be nice to have someone to ride with, especially if they know the mountain and the better runs that get groomed. I have been to Whistler before, but it's probably been 15 years ago!
