  1. I got the F2 intec step in bindings from Donek like you suggested. I did buy an additional toe/heel lift and got that in place. I did not remove the inward cants on the F2 bindings like you suggested. Why do you think I should do this? Wouldn't slightly inward be more comfortable?
  2. Got it all set up! https://photos.app.goo.gl/kACjdFeHYyJk6ia79 https://photos.app.goo.gl/1Ush2GqXkVHnA6jg6 Thank you everyone for helping me through this process.
  3. Okay, I have a dumb question. I need new jacket, pants, gloves, helmet, etc. Does Alpine Boarding vs traditional snowboarding have their own line up of recommended apparel? You know what they say, "Look good, Ride good". Also, I am buying some used gear this weekend locally. Deeluxe 325 with BTS blue springs. Thirst Superconductor 175. Waist is 19.2ish I want to buy some new bindings, what do you all suggest exactly? Thanks,
  4. I have never used step ins for any snowboarding in the past. I just found the few times I did do alpine boarding, getting the boot into the binding was way harder because of the angle of the bindings. So step ins does sound really easy.
  5. Thank you so much. What is an intec heel kit? I am assuming its what you use to release yourself from the binding? Also what does 10m scr mean? Sorry for the dumb questions... Thanks so much. I don't know what is "a must" but these lift kits you are saying must be really important for being able to carve better? I don't remember any lift kits when I used to snowboard.
  6. Sorry for the late follow-up response, life has been so busy. First, what an awesome community that so many people are willing to offer their help. I have spent the past few hours looking at all the different boots, bindings, and boards you recommended and found these to be the most recommended. Deeluxe Track 325 Mondo 27/28 (Someone here liked the 325 vs the 700) $559 https://www.donek.com/product/deeluxe-track-325-black-white/ F2 Titanium Binding (Not sure whether to get the normal one or the step-in one) $289 https://www.donek.com/product/f2-intec-titanium/ Donek's Voyager or Turner Board $915 (170-175cm with a 20cm waist and around a 12m radius) https://www.donek.com/hardboot-snowboards/
  7. Hello, My name is Matt. Experienced freestyler when I was 18 to now my body can't do that but still want to snowboard (40 now). I have alpine boarded using my friends gear several times. Love it. I have no idea what gear I should buy and where from. I am 185lbs, 5'10" and wear size 10. Please tell me where and what board/bindings/boots I should get. Thanks so much.
