  1. Sounds good DW. We have a full weekend of ski racing this weekend. Sessions will likely be from 2:30 to 4. I have access to gates (will probably set stubbies) and will need to get space on the training matrix. I'll put the call out as here as soon as i get the first session scheduled. Will be very informal but will be a great time getting some local alpine riders together to hammer some plastic!
  2. Ask and you shall receive..... Noschoolrider that is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you! Going to be setting some training courses for myself and interested local alpine riders after I am through ski coaching. Hoping to start next weekend!
  3. Can someone send me the course setting specifications for min - max distance and lateral offset for slalom and giant slalom. Thanks!
  4. Adventure continues, today on this old Rossi! https://photos.app.goo.gl/EMPzhiEMSayzS3Vt5 2nd run got caught in some moguls and almost got clobbered! Found some open ground and life was good! Started neutral at 50 -50. Turned front binding another 5 degrees to 55 and seemed to help a lot on heelside turns. Back at it tomorrow with the Mrs. Going to put her on the 156 Hot.
  5. After a great afternoon of riding!
  6. So after much inspiration from reading the AS forum the last few months and running into a couple local alpine riders here at Mt Hood Meadows (Thanks JBurk!) me and the Mrs. jumped back on hard boot setups today. For me it has been 25 years and 20 for her since we last rode alpine setups. Totally thankfull for all the awesome info here on AS and am psyched to be back on a snowboard and hardboots. I'm riding a Hot 157 and the Mrs. is on a 167 F2 Loaner from JBurke! Amazing way to close out 2018 and we'll be right back up there tomorrow! 7. Ran into some local Alpine Riders and threw them into the U12 stubbie course. Way to go Josh and John, especially with a ski coach rooting you on from the side of the course!
  8. Awesome! Thanks for taking the time to send a picture. I have added twice that much stack and replaced all hardware with new stainless screws. I am also wondering what others have used for additional binding risers for board - binding interface? I cut 1/4 inch stall mat slightly larger than the binding base. Stall mat is very heavy and low compression rubber mat and I used increased length stainless mounting screws. Anyone have additional advice on stack or see any issues with this approach for the riser plate? Thanks for advice!
  9. Anyone attend the PSL - PGS at Bachelor last weekend?
  10. Hi, I want to play with some heel lift and canting on my back foot and have a stack of Snowpro's to play with. Have placed about 4mm of heel lift and about 3mm of inward canting. How concerned should I be with the ramp angles from heel to toe piece? Any guidance or examples of this or on a similar binding would be appreciated.
  11. Is there a definitive list - schedule of sl and gs races in the PNW for this coming year or do you have to pick through the usasa website? Thanks, Sean Hood River
  12. Hey fellas was able to get a new bail on the snowpro after removing the little circlips. Two new pairs of deeluxe boots, a pair of old school Hot slalom decks and heading to timberline in a week and a half with wife while kids are in ski racing camp. Only been 20 plus years since i snowboarded but had a rossignol deal back in the day so am hoping it come back like riding a bike! ?. New (old) toys, and the Mrs. ripping it up on the World Cup back in the day!
  13. Hey man thanks for getting back to me. I pulled the trigger and have a new pair coming for her.
  14. Has anyone replaced the bails on these? I have a replacement bail on the old 2 piece and need to take it apart to replace the broken bail on the plate. Looks like they will be interchangeable if I can get them apart. There is some kind of little circlip holding the bail to the toe piece. If someone has done this I'd appreciate some advice. Thanks!
  15. Looking for a good condition set of womens size 8 hard boots. Trying to find a set for my wife and get up to Timberline before the end of summer. She's an ex world cup racer from the early 90's and still has a few race decks that i want to mount up for her. There are a bunch of new Deeluxe boots on ebay between $300 - $350 but nothing in her size Thanks!
  16. Hi do you still have this package available? Isn't the boot a 10.5 with a mondo shell of 28.5? Thanks, Sean
