    Amazing journey AlexJ. One of the most memorable I guess. Talking about spending a small house fortune on cars??? Hummm. ? Car racing will drain your wallet.  I' not even talking about boats now lol.

    Thanks for sharing.  Don't considered my self a "car nut" anymore but the title was catchy lol. My first choice was petrolhead thread. ;)

    I love autocross, and hope to get it out on the local road course for a track day this summer. I've done ice racing before too, but it seriously cut into my snowboarding time so it got dropped. 

    So awesome It must be the most thrilling feeling ever a one seater wow.

    Come to Circuit Mont Tremblant with it. :)

    My dad had a Duster 340. :)

    Also a fan of E30 . Perfect platform for racing a low budget maintenance compare to others.

    Drove the mustang convertible but on Oahu. Amazing cliff drop pictures. Loved Hawaii but to much of a kook for surfing in winter.

    Love that miata zone. Yellow is fast and it' a great great track car out of the box. At my local track a good driver would truly lap faster cars...

    A good supercharged good brake miata was one if the fastest in a very tight sub 59 sec track.

    Lol try some narrower tire(even if manifacturer d'ont want) with WS80 blizzak or Nokian Hakkapelliita 8 studded and would be set. 

     

    Still V6 twin I see the most reflash possbility in my mind  hummm.

    OMG 235 on a 2.0? Are you kidding me Boris because had to Google the "sabre" and it's 141bhp ;)

    Fastest I went was around 270 in a Porsche 911 3.8RSR 993.

    My 2G talon would push 300 but my balls got to small after 275.

    Absolutely love it. Great track car that mx5. Seeing it at numerous track.

     

    The R32 is a favorite if mine also. The sound is pure awesomeness and for Canadian winter one of the best daily.

    A few post in random threads "mea culpa" and other post though that I would like to see a car thread. 

    I was obsessed with cars in my 20's and had more than 34 cars with also surf kinda campers etc lol.

    And I'm 40 ;)

    If your in fast snowboarding you have to at least love a good performance car? Right? Let's see it 

     

    What's you story?

     

    My most performance oriented cars were my 11 second 1/4 Eagle talon's tsi and my Mitsubishi evo 8 at 405 whp and my 12.8 Evo X.

    My Porsche 911 turbo 1987 was the best car in my life. Modded to about 400hp it literally killed my evo 8 on the highway. Only 4 gears on the 930 but it was an insane machine. Way too much maintenance.

    Had a 911SC. Pure response NA motor.  Awesome sound but way slow. The sound was the best ever with a upgrade stainless exhaust.

     

    Had to sell everything because I was really sick for 2 years. Lost almost everything...well everything really.

     

    Still enjoy a good driving car but have a shitbox now. ?

    How about you guy's??
