  1. Yes, it does look like your stance need some work... 46o on rear binding, on a not so wide board and US12 boots! You must have alot of toe and heel overhang! I'm 5,11", M28 (us10) boots and have 50o on rear binding on a 21cm waist board! My stance is also 49.5cm, I have F2 Titanium bindings and ride totaly flat, no cant or lift.

Is your front boot lock in a flexed position? if so you might want to lock it in a more vertical position and keep the rear boot a bit more flexed or in walk mode, you should get a more comfortable position this way.

Can you clip your boots on the board and post photos from different angles?

Non Sutton! J’y retourne à l’instant, quelques pistes de plus...

BTW vraiment cool les vidéos!!! Doit as être évident de concentrer

Sutton!

Just tried my new Contra 174x21 during lunch time as well. only 2 short trails open. First time of the season.

1st run: This thing wants to stay too long in turns

2nd run: Is this the same board? I guess the previous run feeling was due to the first time of the season...

3rd run and after: This thing is crazy. Holds more than anything else. Smooth and easy. Very happy, can't wait for winter to come...

    Bromont? La neige semble granuleuse...

  4. Working on my EC turns, getting pretty good and smooth, toe side still need a bit of work but I'm close! Wide black runs are a pure pleasure, can't get enough of it! At 44 I'm not getting younger, I really need to stretch, everyday if possible. Front leg is working harder than the other one so I need to keep doing some weight training to balance it out. I had a stiff left tight for a couple of month but found a good way to releive that with a massage gun, works wonders! I'm also helping others try hard boot carving, I have a couple of boot sizes, from 25 to 28 and some older boards that I can use for a demo day with someone. A collegue of mine just got his first hard boot setup and will try ot together next week... I'm always opened to give some tips to friendly beginners and intermidiate carvers. It's been a good season so far, life is good! 🙂

  5. Good, bad, depends on your goals. Is it safer or more effecient in every conditions than "regular" carving technique, no. Is it challenging and fun, hell yes! It's like doing tricks on a softboot board, it's fun but you need to choose when and where to do it. EC helped me improve my carving on steep runs, rotation and "push-pull" also help me to be more versatile and  dynamic , no more stiff legs and "sitting on the toilet" on back side... I think EC add tools to your toolbox, and lots of fun!
