Look who I bumped into today..... Now, where are those crazy Canadian Carvers?

This is great! We went up to Grouse today just to get some runs in on Yoshi's hardboots and I find Yoshi at the top of a run looking at all these adult alpine boarders and they are looking at Yoshi.... so I snapped this picture of them and Yoshi got to do a bit of carving with them down the run.

So Yoshi wants to know when you are giving your next sharpening workshop....I think he is really missing carving ( conditions, as you know, suck locally and we have not been able to make it up to Whistler...) He has been soft booting it and retaining his style so I am hopefull that once Cypress opens/Olympics over he can get back into his hard boots. If Cypress does not open again this year, we would love to hook up with you guys and head up to Whistler after the games.

A big Thank you! The board finally cleared customs and we have it our hands. It looks and feels great! It should fit Yoshi for next ski season. We did remove the pink butterfly stomp pad though.....

Thanks. We have been receiving such overwelming response. This is great! I have already received so much help from Roy and Boris and Roy found a 113 bx board yesterday at Sports Junkie so I have already picked that up for Yoshi.

Yes, Boris has been helping us out immensely! He gave Yoshi a lesson over the weekend. What a great coach he is. Yoshi has already a lot from him in such a short period of time. He wants nothing more to do than carve. Boris hooked us up with hardboots and bindings for his snowboard. Everyday afer school he comes home, puts his hard boots on and practices putting them into his bindings...needless to say his board is now a fixture in our family room.

Hi There, I am looking for a kid's alpine board. My son is 7 years old and roughly 124 cm tall. We have found the hard boots and bindings (mondo 22) which are currently on a regular snowboard so we are on the hunt for a tiny alpine board. Thanks!

Hi There, My name is Rebeka and I have a 7 year old boy, Yoshi, who has just started in hard boots. He was carving up a storm on his little snowboard (an LTD 105 cm) and wanted nothing to do with parks so he just started carving on his own. We found a great guy, Boris, at our local hill, Cypress, in Vancouver, BC and he was able to fit is with a pair of Raichles, size 22 and the binding. We have fitted these on his regular snowboard for now but I need to find an Alpine board that would fit his tiny body. Does anyone know where to look? Thanks!
