Great, thanks for all the replies! I was going to fly directly into Aspen, but I have friends who will be travelling up from Denver, and I may fly out of there. Do you think it might be possible for them to pick up some gear for me, or do things like boot sizes require that I show up?

Is the prior still for sale? How much would you be willing to let it go for?

I will be heading to Aspen (from the northeast) for the middle part of january and was really hoping to try out hardboot snowboarding while I was there. However, I can't seem to find anyone who rents or demos the equipment in the area. Does anyone know how I can give this sport a try while I am out there? It looks like a ton of fun, but I am hesistant to purchase all the gear on my own without trying it out at least once.

I am a snowboarder who would really like to try out alpine snowboarding for the first time. Unfortunately, the cost of new equipment is way outside of my budget range and I am hoping someone might have some used gear that would be appropriate for someone 6'2", 187 lbs and a size 10.5 shoe. I would be happy to purchase a board, bindings and boots either seperately or as a package. I get the feeling a board like the Prior ATV or FWD would be most appropriate to purchase, but since I am really budget limited will consider any other similar board that I can buy used. Anyone have anything they can sell?
