  1. I have two Rossi boards--the 156cm is in great shape no scratches, clean and lots of edge left (wifes board--35 days on it?) The 166 is also in good shape, however it has the two repaired scratches on the base (pictured). The edges are unharmed and have lots of life left.

$75.00 each shipping included in price to lower 48 states.

  3. Hey Art-- It was cool running into you on the mountain, next time i hope to be riding with you on a board! Last Sunday was pretty good and i think i will be back up on next Sunday 28th--my time is now limited with the darn kid soccer getting in the way of all my fun.

  4. Wildcat bowl.

You been up here this winter? I been on injured reserve since New Years Eve.

Ready to try this weekend to see if I can teach next week.

I have about 7 epic days on baldy this winter--nothing but chalk!

i'll be up again during the first few weeks of march--i'll let you know when we will be there.

Good luck with the injuries this weekend.

  5. "over on the Warm Springs side you can get over 3000 feet per lap! And they're open 9-4 so that's 7 hours. So theoretically 7 hours at 3 laps per hour could get you 63,000 feet in a day at 10 minutes up/10 minutes down."

On a low speed lift, its pretty easy to beat the chair down. I've never checked it on a high-speed lift. Any idea how long a ride is on the Warm Springs Lift? Are the runs served by this lift conducive to straightlining?

9min20sec to 9min30sec on lift for 3240 verticle feet--best time down is 3min 42sec---Lift is open from 9am to about 4:20 locals sometimes can get on the lift and ride up with an instructor at 8:30am. And it is a straight shot from the top of the lift to the bottom of the lift--no cat tracks--straight down--steep and fast.

  6. How the hell did you do 81K in a day?!?!?! I think my legs fall off at about 50K.

I credit it to the unique sport my life revolved around until the early 90's that involved long periods of leg and lower abdominal torture. I believe my best week i got 270k. I'm 41 now and doing 50k is pushing it for me also. I think on skis, on the same lift all day 103+k has been done.

  7. Sorry Man, but I'm heading to Park City UT for some carve action and the Sundance Film Festival. But have fun!

    :lurk:

You planning on doing any of the WTC with the Hardbooter crew? You ever been to Sundance before? Can't drive, can't get into bars/food it's beyond a Zoo. No carving for me-- just had my second knee surgery in 6 months--maybe in march i can lay down some lines. Have fun on the mountains.

  8. Brundage is an awesome little resort. Way friendly vibe, usually more snow than SV. Lift tickets are about $25 per day less, lodging about 25% less as well. Which can add up. While there is some pretty good grooming there. I don't think of this as a carving hill. Glades, trees and some steeps. It's got a little bit of everything good. Not a ton of anything, but lots of tasty morsels.

I was there on a powder day in April doing a clinic after we finished at 3, we went back up on got untracked right down the middle of one of the main groomers. :biggthump

I ride Brundage most often and it's a great mountain, especially in the spring. Right now we have tons of snow pack so springs gonna be epic. There's also Tamarack resort 35 minutes down the road which would be good for a few days during your trip. Now-- if i was spending the money and coming all the way to the west it would be craze not to go to Sun Valley--the place was made for carving. Runs that are 3240 verticle feet of uninterupted, groomed, chalky, dry, untouched narvana. Just my opinion---I'll ride with you. :)

  9. YEHA! I'll be easy to find, cause I'll be wearing my new carbon fiber dirtbike helmet and screaming down the mountain.

Yeh you'll be easy to find--i'll just look for a simi-circle of your park buddies on there Supermodels standing around you laughing at your carbon fiber lid. You won't see me there--you'll hear me (you know that sound a jet makes when it flys over nice and low). :eplus2: We are going up on friday also--I just bought my first soft boot setup and it could see some action.

    adios--
