Zips work best if the boot shell is already a good contour match to the foot. One can add a cork/silocone filler material to the ankle pocket, but that doesn't extend into the forefoot area much. So they may not be a good match for your specific situation.

I had variants of the Intuition liners in my telemark boots for a time, until I found something better.

Which wasn't difficult.

If memory serves, I gutted a pair of used Conform'able high pressure foam liners, and skied far better for the effort.
