  1. Selling some rare items. Burton Freecarve size 26/9.5 Boots and Burton Performance bindings. Make an offer keeping in mind they're my wife's and she make my life very unhappy if I accept to little. All Images are here - https://photos.app.goo.gl/EDvuevKUhWDMvjc27
  2. Thanks both for the offers. We're looking over info on both and my wife may switch from her Burton Freecarves to trying her ski boots instead as the Freecarves are way too free flexing after 10+ years. So we may want to go with the Catek for ski boot use due to more options for adjustment of cant and such. She met up at the mountain today here in Montana with some pros at the WTF13 event, so we'll see how it goes. Last I heard she was riding on someone race board. Which I never even got to do!!!
  3. I adjusted them as tight as would still allow the "step-in" function to still work. They are unfortunately the all plastic model. The Toe version of plate just seem to hold better. So a nice all metal plate or at least some metal with a good toe clamp would be best. I believe I started on the Burton Race Plates. Never had a problem with them.
  4. Sent you an email with my wife's number so you two can chat. Thanks!!!
  5. Hello does anyone have a set of old but good plate bindings that need a new home? My wife has a pair of Burton Step-In Carrier bindings, which are garbage(IMO), and I'd like to have her in some normal plate binding with the front toe lever and heel catch instead of the lose and dangerous way the current ones are. She borke both her wrists last time she was in these and one boot came out of the binding. Don't need that to happen again. She currently has size 9.5 Burton Freecarve Boots. Thanks

  7. Well the board is still up for grabs and the price is going to be $75 I guess in order to move it out the door. That INCLUDES shipping.

  9. Using the example in the Snowboard shipping fact thread the minimum this board would cost to ship is $28+/- via FedEx 5 day Home Delivery, That's packing it flat as in the thread with a homemade box and all. So My final price is $78. Whoever wants it at that price and sends me an email first will get it. Thanks
  10. That's my newest best rough estimate until I can get it packaged and wieghed and al l the final dimensions. So $85 for board and shipping.
  11. What about packaging of the board itself?
  12. Ok well I looked into shipping a snowboard and unless someone knows of special cheaper way to do it the UPS store is saying about $100 in shipping! Any help?

  14. I'll email you and the other person when I get a shipping quote.
  15. I know of the extra threads I was just following the advice of others to separate my listings also for better exposure.
  16. Let me check into shipping. I didn't consider the problem of shipping a board. I think I'd have to have a store pack it for me so that could add to the cost. I'll check into it. The board has never been used with anything but plates. Originally it had Burton race plates on it, then TD2's. Which one of you two is going to get it depends on what the shipping costs I imagine. Here's 2 pictures of the edges and the small dings above them. The 2 worst areas I think. Also a picture of the base. My camera isn't so good at close in pictures so I'm nut I can show the edges better. But if you have ideas or any requests I'd be happy to try.
  17. 1997 Burton SuperModel 174 See my other post for pictures. - http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=25632 Now for the best Item of all! A classic and hard to find board. Rarely seen and one of the best out there. a 1997 Burton Super Model 174! The edges and base of this board are in as close to mint condition as a 12yr old board could be. This was bought new as a Factory Second due to a blemish on the bulls horns as shown. It's rarely to never seen any spring conditions or rocks and was usually only used on the best cord! It could be your next rock board though as at this price why not? It's top has got the usual minor dings from these crazy people that don't know how to line up in the lift queue. But all in all it's gotta be the best looking single owner, 1997 Burton SM174 Board out there! The following is a link to the French Burton Catalog(The only one I could find) I've translated to Fringlish the best I could so please forgive any mis-translations. http://derf.dyndns.org/~derf/gallery...rmodels?full=1 ASKING $50 Catalog Page Translation Follows: SUPER MODEL 174 Great freestyle or freeride, but not only for great riders. All Terrain versatility for the jumps, the curves, and the fakies. Inspired by the riders that developed these boards: Peter Bauer for the alpine freecarve, Craig Kelly and Billy Bacon for the wild freeride, Chris McKenzie for his season of victories in freestyle. It is not a compromise, but a synergy of the evolution of several styles of ride gathered in single design. Structure: Core Super Fly of the Tip to the Tail. 38% lighter. Connection by Epoxy matrix. Solid mono coat structure with enveloping protection of the cross-sections. Control in torsion with glass fiber 45'. Core Super Fly to the ends. Base UHMW 2000. Inserts 3D. Curve of Progression: If you want to go faster, higher, to test harder slopes and or carve deeper. Take the length that you ride to freestyle currently and add 10 A 15 cm to choose your Supermodel. Geometry: Directional core and shape for more power in Ollie, to float in all snow and unlimited performance in fakie. Narrower than Customs, for a fast edge change. Depth of sidecut and long edge length for more power in the fast curves in all snow. More edges for maximum control on hard snow, the ice and in the powder, unequalled on any ground. Ride: Change of Edge as fast as a flash, in the curves. More rigid in torsion than a freestyle board, with an active rebound. In the air or on snow, they behave bloody well, while floating and while carving on any surfaceand help to keep your speed on the flats and to leave deep traces. Not to mention the awesome landings. Monoshell or Rubbish: We use a true Monoshell design. With all glass fiber wrapping completely around the board. Not all the “monoshell” boards are not built like this. Many monoshells finish at the point of contact (there or where the tips are raised) and use traditional ends out of tip and heel, thus forming a joint which can yield or break. Worse yet, certain monoshells are only made-up of a sheet of plastic covers on the edges, without glass fiber on the Edges to avoid damaging the core. Do not worry about what the manufacturers of skis tell you. The monoshell designs do not improve the pressure on the Edges. What is not valid for skis, is even less valid for one long and fine snowboard. Super Model 174 Specs: Super Fly core Cap construction UHMW 2000 Base Total Length: 1740mm Edge: 1330 mm Effective Edge: 1380mm Edge Thickness: 25.3 Width: 248 mm Radius: 8.75 m Spacing: 18/24" or 455/605mm Rider Wieght:140-240+ Positioning: 25mm
